C-130 Crash landed at Nur Khan Base

Hmm C-130s are getting old. Just like our F 16s A/B .

We need get a replacement like xian Y-20 in a few years also J10-C .

But for now we can't afford them. Give pakistan 5 years of economic focus rather then defence and i bet we can afford em in 5 years time.

In the mean time , if Americans speak the truth and they are friends and allies they could fix and overhaul our existing ancient flert of C130s and take its money worth from us.

. .
ehhh, the question is if it was the 'B' or a 'E' that sustained damage?

.
The only real replacement for these C-130s are other C-130s, and if any used H models are available on the market, they should be grabbed up.

Naa I wasn't in it:partay:
Save ur self for inquiry mera upar jaan leva hamla karwaya hai
But If I am not wrong after 1988 this is first major C 130 accident.

I think if we have money Usa will sell us C 130 J easily no problem in that

Last accident was on Sept 10, 1998 when brake failure led to one Herc crashing into another parked one.

The person who took picture and uploaded it on any social media should face court martial.

Crash news from Pakistan, crew safe!

On 9 November 2018, around 14:00 hrs local time, a C-130 Hercules of the Pakistan Fiza'ya (PAF, Pakistan Air Force) burst its tyres during a take-off run while executing touch-and-go's from Nur Khan (Islamabad International Airport) in Rawalpindi (Pakistan). The Hercules ran off the runway, hit a wall and caught fire. All crew members escaped the wreckage without injuries.

At Nur Khan the 35 (Composite Air Transport) Wing is based with the 6(ATS) squadron 'Antelopes' flying the C-130B/E.

General info not paf

.
It was an C-130E tail #180.

Last I recall it was attached with TCS ( transport conversion school).

Instead of getting passenger variants of Saab 2000's, PAF should have opted for used C-130's from Jordan or Turkey. PAF's transport fleet is underserved to be honest. Pilots are not getting enough hours. Half the work is being done by CASA's that too in a very limited scope.

Landing accident during training. Front section is damaged due to the locked nose wheel. I hope they are able to recover the aircraft.

that looks like a pretty much of a crash landing to me, the position the tail of the aircraft is in... good thing they are all safe.
