i think Gilani is reasonably benign to continue in office. However, if he develops teeth, Zardari will account for him pretty quickly. By the way what ids the basis of this rumour

The background of this 'rumor' comes from the fact that Gillani asserted himself by firing Durrani who was appointed by Zardari and was given permission by Zardari to confirm the citizenship of Kasab. Also & ever since this incident, Zardari has been 'shut-up' both in the print and e-media and not a single statement has come out from the President House which was pretty rampant before.
Also the passing of the 17th amendment is pointing in the direction of making the PM powerful and removing the Democales Sword of the 58(2)b over the head of an elected leader!
