Small time rivalries are the ones which can not take into account strategic picture and have saturated to a stalemate. Such rivalries are only good to be used to extract concessions from parties involved by parties not involved in them.

Lets remove Pakistan from BRICS and add Iran . They hold more economic potential. Now with Iran out of sanctions , pakistan will be buffeted by two growing neighbors. But as usual they will continue supporting proxies and stagnate economically.

Iran cannot match up to Pakistans importance in the region. We are already the No. 1 spot for Chinese interest and investments. Best Iran can do is join hands with Pakistan and together be the most influential in the region.

, Sir Iranians have their own independent foreign policy. Iran might trade with pakistan but might not give out regional power status. As pakistan shares boundaries with Iran and relationship with SA as such they will be wary of pakistan. As a thumb rule you dont allow your neighbour to outgrow you and become more powerful enough to threaten your interests. Just like what pakistan does to afghanistan got it.

but about this thread bottom line in with this new neuk deal western nations will ease sanctions on iran and iranain economy will regain the hights it always deserved

now will iraninas ditch india which alweays traded with iran despite snaction or will it keep doing buisness as usual with india remains to be seen

China will invest heavily in Iran. A huge arms market for Russia. Indian can buy more oil and export more rice and pharmaceuticals.

Yes , thats correct pakistan is not realizing that. They already have some sort of understanding in Iraq. Things will soon unravel. For US it is easier to deal with non-nuclear iran than double dealing nuclear threatening country like pakistan. If pakistans economic scenario does not improve they will become second north korea of china. USA will try to court iran lest they fall into russian camp. Now Iran will play safe (like india does) with both russia and usa to maximize its benefit.

Remember china is not US ally but they trade with them , same thing holds good for iran.

the U.S with the republicans, xtian right and support for israel will attempt to push iran down come what may.

Pakistan is a strategic partner for China our dealings are not just economic but of critical national interest (its why even after having 100 billion in trade with ibdia they will still block any indian attempt against Pakistan see lakhvi issue)

pakistan has onli one merit and thats it stretig location with boundries with afhgansiatn and iran and ports of gwadar and karachi

but iran has direct boundries with most of the central asian countries including pakistan and afghanistan + it has a very strategick location in gulf of eden and arabian sea and has the biggest magnet the crude oil


so the question is what will china do will it make two diffent routes to reach the same destination or will it ditch pakistani CEPC or chabahr corridoar
