The captive Yezidi manager who loved an Indian working in Iraq like son, hated him because among Yezidis he felt the culture and identity of Indian Hindus in Iraq, an Islamic land.

But it made me laugh with grief that some chunk of Indians can’t kill the other Indians and move to thousands of miles away to kill Yezidis to get the satisfactions of killing the Indians. The world has really gone wrong -

Seems like a cooked up story by some Indian.
Yezidis dont have anything strikingly n common with us .
Till now I didnt heard such a claim from any Yezidi . I dont know yet more about it.

sure, nothing in common with you , but they have many things in common with Tamils

Their traditions are similar to those of Hindus, and recently I heard in India someone calling them Yajurvedi Hindus. Not sure what is going on here.

@naveen mishra That painting is an imitation of a famous Sri Devi calender.

This is the closest source I could find.

Oh, and the story in the OP is pretty badly cooked.

Worst cooked up story i have ever read:hitwall::hitwall:

but painting ...?
Just because there is a painting of "women in saree" doesn't mean the story is true. Yezidis did not originate in India & they certainly are not Indians. But i agree that Hinduism & Indian culture had a lot of influence on their religion & culture.

Nope .... they don't.
But you are NOT a Tamil. You don't even know Tamil alphabets. Your are just a Sri Lankan Muslim.

He's a Tamil living outside South Asia and that's the reason for his lack of proficiency in his language. I don't think he's Muslim.

I don't think there's any specific hatred towards Yazidis. It's just the same hatred they show towards all other religious minorities but we hear the stories of Yazidis more than the others.

Some Yezidi representatives had attended the recent Hindu Sammelan in Delhi, but they were mainly discussing their plight. Have heard some over enthusiast calling them a part of Dharmic religion. But I dont think there is anything significant similarity between Hinduism and their culture.

What's up with some Indian's obsession with foreigners.
