Are you Sheriyar Afridi, a man on mission! who by co-incident was given portfolio of interior ministry /narcotics?
To be honest such a huge news we heard only when PTI took over, sounds more like a personal vendetta even worst how badly PTI got exposed and it only add to mistrust on PTI regime and it's mysteriously selected ministers!
Please list what is being fixed in Lahore ? I doubt if ruling clergy has even cleaned the expo center after it hosted thousands of COVID ridden zairin!
Most of it is paper projects... sange buniad means nothing unless project is executed at least to 80-90%
Tax wasuli is no progress, and new finance minister condemned Imran Khan regime for overburdening economy with undue and unjustified taxes.
Why is Punjab govt. giving money to Balochistan govt. for Zairin services?
Last section of Lahore ring road was approved, when Shebaz Sharif was CM but not even inch of it is built ever since he's in jail.
I know next elections will end in civil war but if fair elections are held, Imram Khan party will get ZERO votes from Lahore!

Sheikh Rashid was candidate of interior ministry from beginning but the ministry was awarded to Sheriyar Afridi based on advise of mystical minister!
Change of dates of Iranian trip was as well advised by mystical minister.
This guy take advise of mystical minister in every thing he do and wear.

If Buzdar complete 5 years then Punjab will go 10 years back, that mofo can't even ensure garbage collection let alone other things. A person who can't take decisions at charge is worst thing for any institution or organization. PTI will pay heavily for stubbornness of Imran Khan on this issue, He should have changed him long time ago.
Sorry to say ... but our media is against Buzdar from the very beginning ... look at the starting events .... so, whatever he does, it is twisted against him. This is primarily due to two reasons:
1) Media is central punjab based. They dont know anything out of central punjab. As per medic, any one not from central punjab is a weak person and must be changed.
2) Buzdar does not interact with media. If that should be the creteria, media should also judge Nawaz sharif how is such a puppet of Ishaq dr that he conducted handful number of cabinet meetings and remained out of Pakistan for 1 year out of 3 years of his govt. So, this shows that this is biased reporting against Buzdar.
When you look at media, they say poor performance or bad governance but they can not specifically point out the instances of poor performance against the predecessor. Imran Khan can not be targeted easily, so they target his weak spot Usman Buzdar without mentioning any grievances.
Now, if you look at the budget allocation and govt priorities:
1) PSDP Budget is largely allocated to south punjab specifically in DG Khan District.
2) Agriculture sector showing boom. There is heavy inflow of money from urban to rural areas. Crops are purchased at the rates at which Governemnt fix the rates (e.g. Cane crop.) This is the main reason of inflation in urban cities. Previously, these crops were purchased at lower rates from farmers evading taxes. This resulted in massive tax collection from sugar sector (because of in-books purchases but also resulted in increase in sugar prices but farmers benefited from this).
3) This has been now third year of PTI government. There is no instance of choking of cities due to heavy rain. Underground water storage systems and other things were put in place without showing off. Health minister is doing excellent job. COVID situation was better managed without showing off. South Punjab secretariat is process. This will pave way for formation of south punjab.
4) Work is done in Lahore on need basis. No need to build extra under passes when the flow of traffic is smooth. Only firdous market under pass was built. Shahkam underpass is under approval.
So we must not judge the book by its cover. Name the instances, say 5, where buzdar lacks Shahbaz in governance.

Bhai Lahore mein aek gali se dosri gali tak flyover nahi bun rahay isliyey Buzdar pasand nahi ahraha. Had Buzdar used all of Punjab's budget on Lahore like Showbaaz then he would have been the darling of the media and people of Central Punjab as well.
There are only three seats of PTI out of 12 in Lahore. So on average out of 10 people only 2 are PTI voters. So, non-PTI voters are talking to one another about PTI unpopularity and remaining 2 get easily influenced. PTI only won in Faisalabad . Mostly PTI voters are based in South Punjab, North Punjab, KPK and Karachi.
People are also discussing about recent by-elections results. out of all only Karachi seat was PTI won seat. Rest were from central punjab where PTI lost by vast majority in GE 2018. However, if you see Daska elections, PTI narrowed PMLN leads from 2018 GE. Lead is now very narrow. and this is all when IK was not compaigning for elections making promises and PTi candidate was all by himself. Against him, PMLN leader MN compaigned massively. So, things are not bad.
Last thing, PTI won MMA seat in By elections from KPK against alliance of PDM. No body is talking about that ...

That is a good assessment, also I feel they still have about 2 years to go and all signs are pointing towards a rapidly accelerating economic growth. Most analysts are predicting growth to be at 5-6% in FY23 and this is real growth not nakli like Ishaq Dar's built on borrowed money and current account deficit of $20b.
Fast growth will improve people's lives and lead to increase in popularity. One trick that PTI missed is that they have not implemented their local government system yet. I see there might be internal pushback against it specially from electables in Punjab assembly. Even now if they implement the local government system the people will see "kaam" which will be essential in getting the swing voters. Also IK has promised full health insurance for all of Punjab by the end of this year. I hope it comes true, this alone will put a MASSIVE dent in PML-N votebank in Punjab. Then Buzdar government is pushing towards South Punjab secretariat and may make South Punjab province before 2023 elections. That will help in retaining SP seats.
With implementation of BRT, Swat Motorway, universal health and ongoing education/health reforms it can be expected that PTI will easily retain KP in 2023. As for Karachi, lots of MNA funds have been pumped in the last few months and people are seeing their water, sewerage lines and road carpeting in their area after a decade or more. If this continues till 2023 then PTI might again manage about 10 seats from Karachi. This tally might even increase if the census is redone.
So all in all PTI is the only party that has the ingredients in place to form government in 2023 (KP, South Punjab and Karachi). PML-N and PPP are regional parties of Central Punjab and interior Sindh.

Why I need media when I can see garbage dumps with my own eyes? I am talking about South Punjab where as per you PSDP budget is largely spent. Lahore is capital of Punjab and big cities needs special attentions, if it becomes mess like Karachi then there will be no turning back.
Agreed ... There was mess of of garbage that was witnessed in Lahore in recent months. This was because the contract with waste management company ended and negotiation was underway for new contract and formation of new board.
However, i am now seeing waste collection trucks working again from last weeks. The situation will improve.
But overall, we must appreciate Govt performed very well during Covid without much show off. Govt budget is not in deficit unlike SS which ended with unaccounted for budget deficit. Also appreciate the fact that we have faced two rainy seasons and not a single time the city was choked for a long time. This is in contrast to SS who needed long boots and drama to clear the drainage problems. Look at health side, health minister showed much devotion Still there is need for improvement which i ithink will be visible if the local govt elections as promised by IK are held. This will address the grass root level issues.
Overall we Lahoris dont like Buzdar because he is not badmash, has an innocent face and does not have a powerful political background. Thats why media and lahoris are against him from the very beginning.
People of Pakistan should appreciate that despite Covid devastation across the world:
- we managed to have massive construction activity. Cement sector and steel sector showing highest ever sales in 9-months ended March 31, 2021.
- Agriculture sector (excluding cotton crop) showing robust growth. Govt focus on agriculture will further improve this sector.
- Large sector industry showing roughly double digit growths in recent months. This is all inspite of covid situation across the world.
- SBP led TERF facility offered to large scale manufacturing resulted in low cost financing for 10 years. Total loan provided till April was more than Rs 600 billion (2% of GDP). Loan is provided only for projects for which LCs are opened before april-21. max Per project loan is Rs 5 billion. If we do the maths, there are atleast 120 industrial units that are in pipeline that will be visible in a year or two. This will generate massive employment opportunity and robust economic growth. There are also other schemes offerred to exporters. Whole textile industry in expansion phase. However, i dont have numbers to support this fact.
- Housing scheme is one of its kind. This is unique in kind because govt does not need to provide any massive subsidies to support this scheme. The effect of this will be visible in coming years in construction sector.
- Due to covid situation, there is crisis across service sector. Therefore only this sector showed negative growth. Otherwise, as per my assessment we may meet the target of 3% growth of this financial year.
So instead of falling prey to propaganda, we must look at the numbers and compare with previous regime that performed on consumption led growth injected through massive loans without creating resources to pay them. macro Economic indicators were heavily compromised. if we were so good at that time then why:
- Moody downgraded our rating and gave negative outlook in mid 2018 i.e. Pakistan is unable to meet its liabilities
- Mike pompeo stated that Pakistan will come to IMF for sure and we look at the Chineese loan
- we have to beg from islamic world for loan
- Indian retired generals and policy makers were saying at that time that pakistan is so economically troubled at that time that we must not let Pakistan go. This was time around February 2019

I think Buzdar is a real candidate for the next pm role, ik is mentoring him and 2023 will be his to shine,
For too long Lahore has been the focus of the cm Punjab and now with Buzdar the rest of Punjab is flourishing. We hope and pray that in 2023 the whole of the federation will benefit from IK's student.
Ik should be then the sovereign of Pakistan as an elder figure to maintain the balance he has created. A figure like in Iran of a supreme leader. As was proposed by the late colonel Gaddafi for himself. We are blessed

I would like to mention just some recent incidents. During Covid third wave people in My district where PTI has MNA and MPA seats people were dying daily. Three of the major hospitals were full of corona patients but Murad Raas Edu minister denied that We had any problem so schools acadamies all were open. It went on for a month. After a month HEC issued a list of districts where covid situation was bad. Our district was mercifully present in that list. So murad sb awoke suddenly and closed schools in our district but hilariously our adjoining district gujrat which was even worse hit then ours was absent from new notice. People were shocked but they followed the orders. Schools opened next day. But the someone kicked murad sb and he issued a new notice which included gujrat. So after just one day of work schools were again closed in gujrat. It was really hilarious.
