Western colonist had no choice but to give independence to all their colonists due to rising nationalism and to protect their corporations from being kicked out like in Vietnam and Indonesia. Independence movement were taking up arms in many countries in Africa. Maintaining colonies were just not sustainable. It was better to negotiate and protect their huge corporations assets and properties.
Heard of Gandhi non violence movement to gain independence? Or Mugabe and Nkomo war of independence in Rhodesia ?

You are just being an apologist for Western imperialism.
Military and technological superiority gives lots of choices. They wiped out native people of North and South America. They had the weapons to do the same in Asia and Africa. Same way Japanese tried to in China and South-East Asia in World War II.

Why did USA have a civil war between north and south ? I don't see any example of civil war to grant freedom to slaves, anywhere in history. There were lots war for independent but very few resulted in freedom.

Errr no. Like I said earlier rising nationalism united the majority against the minority imperialists and this made it impossible to sustain. Even a small Guerrilla group with local support could easily do a lot of damage.
Even in Malaya, the Chinese form the Malayan Peoples Anti Japanese Army (MPAJA).

Guerrilla warfare is a form of irregular warfare in which small groups of combatants, such as paramilitary personnel, armed civilians, or irregulars, use military tactics including ambushes, sabotage, raids, petty warfare, hit-and-run tactics, and mobility, to fight a larger and less-mobile traditional military.

Japan despite having the most powerful navy and air force in the world actually got bogged down in China. China was too big. KMT could retreat inland to ChongQing and continue to fight there and Japan eventually lost.

I don't think West had the same resource and manpower limitation of Japan.
