What's new

Burka Avenger | Pakistan's Animated Female Superhero | Updates & Episodes.

Ofcourse I have a problem with the Burqa. As the civilized world has a problem with the burqa.

Lastly, I donot judge your culture. For forcing the women in your country to bear burqa's is NOT your culture. Your culture is Salwar kameez or the Sari.
The burqa is an Arab culture which Pakistani's love to bow down to.

No you are wrong - Again.

This is what superficial faux learning does to you. Copying other people's opinions does that remarkably often. Like I remarked before, you do not use your brain much.

Arab culture is actually different from ours. Our cultural interpretation of religious injunctions is different. But for your, whose experience makes him confuse religion, culture, and geography can be expected to demonstrate such jumbled thinking.

When you comment about civilized world, you are actually projecting your world view. I happen to think that a trend towards fewer clothes and more skin is barbarous.

So, the next time you choose to let your spinal column short-circuit the thinking process and let your itchy fingers do your 'thinking', expect a further reprimand.

BTW do not tell me that my culture includes Sari. It is an interesting article of clothing, but hardly anyone outside of Karachi ever wears it. Some keep it for novelty and that is it. Modest females wear a dopatta, chador or burqa over whatever else they wear. A reminder again for your to actually make an effort to think before exposing your ignorance - if at all you can manage that.

Sari/Salwar Kameez Pakistani culture? WHat are you talking about? Are you crazy? :cuckoo:

Thats Indian (specifically Hindu) culture bro. Pakistanis are Muslims, and in many ways polar opposites of us.

Then it seems you gentlemen are not aware that Pakistani women wore Sari rather regularly till 2-3 decades ago.

This started declining heavily after the Mard-e-Momin decided that Pakistan needed to follow Saudi Arabia.
Infact one of Pakistan's governmental official dresses is Sari.

Burqa on the other hand represents the best of Middle East or rather the best of Saudi Arabia - where women are not even allowed to drive...and a situation where Pakistan seems headed into going by what new announcements in KPK suggest about women not being allowed to visit bazaar's without a male escort.

@muse I am curious on your views on this ....

I dont give a d*mn about where/what/how the burkha culture came to Pakistan, whether it came from Arab petro dollars or Iranian petro dollars. All I Know is that Pakistan TODAY has culturally nothing in common with India. Might have been the case 500 years ago when they were majority Hindus/Sikhs/Buddhists but not today. Stop living in the past.

I am sorry, but I am not going to sit around here, while you give our unique culture to our enemies. Sari/shalwar kameez has nothing to do with Pakistan, Pakistan as a nation was built on the idea of being different from HIndus. Have some self respect and stop this shameless dalali, it embarasses the rest of patriot Indians like us.

Again you are confusing different things.

Talking more about sari would force me into following a tangent. It is really not important. Your simplistic views are again very superficial. The shift away from sari is a mirage. It was never popular to begin with. There are Socio-cultural reasons. Zia ul Haq did not go inspecting people's homes to enforce an anti-sari policy that is conjured by your imagination. Hilarious. As before you are letting your itchy fingers do your thinking. Again you are talking about things you do not know much about.

About Burqa - again you are pulling 'facts' from somewhere without any basis. It is too pathetic an attempt. For your sake, pls stop.

Hes a pathetic man... i wonder why ur answering his venomous rants?

Apparently not. But see'ing definitely is.
What is seen is a woman in burqa trying to be a hero - a hero that is literate and teaches as well...but a woman in burqa.

Should kids be taught that Burqa is okay? Nay by showing kids that Burqa clad woman as a hero, they are trying to inculcate that this should be emulated. That woman in burqa is a desirable trait.

Idiots have no limits indeed in case of Indian heart burning here.

1. The woman teacher is shown NOT buraq clad in class room BUT she has to adopt the identity concealing attire to fight off fundoos who are against women education.

2. Just like all super heros and superwomen seriese identity concealing is what is shown here.

3. An Indian Hindu or for that matter if you are a Sikh well has NO moral right to speak about what kids should be taught through cartoons when you Indians are using hindu gods and hindu religious symbols to bombard kids in these cartoons.

NOW Indians should lay off

Hate is making you blind.

Shalwar Kameez is a dress which has culturally been with Pathans and Baluchis for centuries. Why does it not have anything to do with Pakistan?

In case you are that hateful of Muslim influence in South Asia, be sure to convince Sikh women to drop the dopatta that they respectfully don during religious observances. Be sure to tell Rajputs that purdah is an evil invention and they best drop it too as part of their traditional culture.

There is nothing particularly outstanding about Indian culture, good or bad. No need to think of it as a unique privilege to be jealously guarded from others. I have nothing against sari, but if facts be considered, it is not important in contemporary Pakistani culture.

Lastly, areas comprising Pakistan have been Muslim majority for many centuries. We are more secure with our culture and we have no problem with shared cultural values with India. Culture is not God.

I think the version of the burqa with a long slit up both sides and something like a bandana type head thing is actually pretty hot. We should not judge veiled superheros man. They all need to protect their identity. Especially the female ones from the multitude of leches all around.
