Burger King's Impossible Whopper Smells And Looks Exactly Like The Beef One

.
Indians have been eating veggie burgers since 1980s, with Patties made out of Alloo ,Paneer and Soya chaap.
If only Nirula's had the forsight to launch veggie burgers in USA, when McDonald's and Burger King came to India and took over it's market

Westerners do not want these aloo or paneer burgers. They want veggie burgers that taste like meat. While alloo, paneer etc is delicious to us, might not be for them. For decades, they have been trying to "perfect" veggie burgers and for them, perfection is to make them taste like a beef patty. Many of these used restaurants used to have veggie burgers which were pretty much patties made of soya and mushroom without any flavoring and they tasted disgusting. Now they are very close to perfecting it.

just eat a tasty veggie alternative, what is this obsession with tasting exactly like meat but not being meat , wtf ?

.
Are these available in canada too?
Or will we be dreaming about it only cuz plantbased can be eaten while meat can’t (not halal)

.
I wonder if there will be plant-based french fries sometime in the future

. .
I recently had the impossible burger version 2.0. It aint that bad. but this time i made it home with high quality buns and a fresh sauce.
It still lacks the smell of real meat - but texture is pretty close.

Anyway it will not replace meat as of now. And neither should it.

The burgers I made in Pakistan were out of this world. Cooked on wooden coal with patties made and seasoned from scratch. Local Pakistanis were like bro open a restaurant.. lol

.
I’ll miss the cardboard based French fries.

I don't have fast food that often, but I will say McDonald's does have much better fries than Burger King.

Of course YMMV

The way you describe it sounds really good

Well the meat in Pakistan tastes better than in the US. I’m sure there are multiple factors to this, but mainly it’s because everything in Pakistan is organic except for the processed junk foods of course.
