Indeed.The only reliable countries in EE about this are Pol,Rou and Turkey.Rou has some catching up to do with its Armed Forces though but I'm moderately confident about that.At least the US knows by now who its allies in here are.

I guess you're talking about Hungary,I was talking about Bulgaria.Be that as it may,Hun and Bul spend 1%,1.2% respectively today on their Armed Forces.The gap to 2% would mean alot to them.-Another 1% for Hung means some 13 billion $ on a 10 year modernisation p;lan...this is not exactly pennies...

From what I've read and know Romania proposed.I just read a "respected" Bulgarian analyst who basically hints that Romania is actually working for Turkey in an effort to transform the Black Sea in a Turkish lake...

Now,I'm anti Erdogan and I'm anti Turkey's handling of the immigration issues and its handling of ISIS but Rou and Bul joined NATO on their free will and when we joined NATO ,Turkey was allready a member.I find this "hurr durr,we won't join with Turkey only with Romania" completely out of line and an unworthy attitude from a fellow NATO member.
