Yes, bombing Pakistan, killing of Chinese engineers, bombing Sheraton hotel killing French Engineers, destroying pipelines, all were things patriots usually do when they get a little irked. Whoever stands against security agencies with arms is a traitor.

The mistake Musharraf made was he stopped at Akbar Bugti, he should have wiped out all the leaders.

Bugti was a traitor, I have beefs with Musharraf on his bend over policy with the US, and praise for his action against Bugti.

Its possible that Bugti may have decided to not get caught alive and decided to end his life at the very end as have many other such figures in the past.

Bughti was surely a traitor but Musharaf has made him a HERO by killing him the way he did. When you surpass the lines of justice, every action becomes unlawful even when it appears to be a legal on. This person has destroyed whole National Fiber because of his poor governance and social/political blunders. Killing of Bughti is also one of them and now if Musharaf is "mard ka bacha" he must face it and defend he was right and killing of Bugti was justified.

Ab Mushi keu kukkar hua phirta hai.. no one believes this Suicide $hit.. and he is sitting in England while whole country is facing the consequences of his mistakes.

It is a pity that human rights violations are not being noticed in Kashmir or Assam in India but are visible only in Balochistan.

This is just my opinion but I fully support what Musharaf did. A hard stand needs to be taken against these stubborn "tribal leaders" that create divisions in society. Maybe I am a bit biased as I am not a fan of this concept of "tribes" and having "tribal leaders", I think history has proven that these people always cause 99% harm and hardly an inklet of good. I just wish Musharaf would stand by his actions with pride and dignity instead of hiding behind curtains. I think we need to be a bit vigilant overall when dealing against the stain of tribalism and fuedalism in Pakistan.

India took a hard line against dissidents when they invaded the Golden Temple and Sri Lanka did that recently against the Tamil Tigers. Why can't we have a similar hard line? Just my opinion, don't mean to cause any offence.

Not claimed by Zaid Hamid. ZH provided a news article in which Akbar Bugti's friend said that Akbar Bugti committed suicide when Army Commandos went inside a cave to hold talks with him, or may be to capture him (dont remember exactly).

Balochistan is 42% of Pakistan's territory. Its poplulation is only 4% of Pakistan, about 8 million. Out of this, nearly 5 million are Pashtuns, Brahwis, Makranis, Punjabis and Sindhi Pakistani who have no problem at all. Within Baloch people, majority are with Pakistan. The separatist are just a few misguided, sold and/or useful idiots from 4 districts out of 28 in the province. Several PM and President of Pakistan were Balochi's. Akbar Bugti was a traitor!
