What is your view on budget 2014/15.

I am hearing the speech, MNA's started shouting on the privation policy. Besides that everything else seems fine so far...

Duty free imports of Textile related machinery was supposed to end at June 30 but it has been extended for another 2 years so going to remain duty free until June 30 2016 in hope to extract maximum benefits of GSP plus.

What about the Total HEC budget?

Really handsome budget for HEC for this year. That is 63 billion rupees

Too less,I was expecting something close to 80Billion PKR.

they should have atleast increased it to 75billion pkr

I actually liked it, if my memory is correct it's rise of around 8 billion rupees from the last year's budget of HEC?

HEC is doing a good job already but we had to spare more money for lower education, health and energy. I liked the budget in general. Not bad

I got very few of the points.... Retailers do not want to deal with Taxman so it will be taken from their Utility bill.... Some special tax on expensive branded items like shirts, shoes, hand bags....
