I think there were trade offs. Some Muslim majority areas like Murshidabad, Junagadh were given to India likewise some Hindu majority areas were given to Bangladesh and Pakistan. But I don't know.

Yes. But those Hindu districts were much large than tiny Murshidabad.

Junagadh was never a muslim majority area. Please check. The majority of the population of Junagadh were Hindus. Junagadh was ruled by a Muslim Nawab Mohabat Khan who fled in 1947to Karachi on a ship with his dogs leaving rest of the family in Junagadh

Hindu majority of WB and different religious amalgamation of NE should have come with EP as well, on the basis of Muslims majority in this region. If they can be part of Hindu Rastrya. They can be part of Muslims Rastrya as well. These separate entities would have autonomy. Congress is a deceivious party to take away whatever they can. Not to forget CHT people were mostly loyal to Pakistan. But they revolted against Indian/Congress creation of BD. Also Mizoram.
