Cow is eaten every day in many parts of India and especially Kerala. Even if the dead savarkar and golwalkar returned, that cannot change. India is not your idea of north Indian Hindu identity and beliefs especially holy cow mother, which isn't going to be respected by other religions and many Hindus too. Always remember, Cow is not protected animal in many parts of India. Not a GauMata. But, just an animal worth it's milk, meat and leather.

Beef is eaten and some states like Kerala and NE States havent ban and i guess u havent read constitution and it talks about protection of cows and u are no one to oppose the constitution , read about article 48 and this article is based on Gandhian principle so RSS bullshit is irrelevant and also in 2005 Surpreme court approved constitutional validity of anti cow slaughter acts , keep your facts right , also its on state government whether to ban or not , its not compulsory

There was a certain time when at the insistence of the GoB, the Indian govt ordered the BSF troops to fire rubber bullets. They could do nothing with this fake bullets. Rather, BSF troops were injured with sharp weapons used by the smugglers. Our smugglers move in gangs, talk like gangsters and act like one when in conflict at the border with the BSF.

Indian govt re-permitted the use of real bullets only after a few months. The GoB is now unable to ask India to go back to rubber bullets.

That might be true , its better Bangladeshis shouldn't try and smuggle cows , Indian government cant guarantee their safety , they know that they can be shot if caught , unnecessary fuss. Instead Bangladesh can talk to India about legally buying cows from those who cannot afford to keep it

I don't think improving military might, may help. Bangladeshis should stop eating cows, simple. A day will come, when Indians will push these cows for free towards Bangladesh. Or sell them to Saudia. Whatever, the only solution is, eat Chicken.

Look at how BDR gave BSF a beating in the 2001 border tussle. SubhanAllah. It still remains 1-0 Bangladesh. BSF can’t fight gun to gun, they would never kill civilians in Pak border as they know Pak border guards will fire back. Problem is BGB, which has limitation. After India conspired to get rid of BDR who were well patriotic and brave. Am sure there’s many brave patriots in bgb too but there’s limitations from upstairs hence why BSF is continuing its evil acts against the innocent bd civilians on the border.

Lot just doesn't even make the news (on these kind of border encounters). From time to time a BD member will let slip their frustration on it (because BD media undercurrent does carry report on the massive BSF actions on their ppl).

BSF wants to keep things on the down low officially so as to not embarrass and put pressure on SHW too much.

But there is sea change on how we deal with BD in recent years (on the ground) and @Axomiya_lora has done good job in this thread and others illustrating it.

Then the funny part is the Pak members coming here in such threads talking about how to handle BSF lol.....in a thread about.....Bangladesh. The irony lol.

Lol first of all, Pakistan constantly cries about the BSF killing Pakistani civilians. And in two months ISPR announced five soldiers killed, which means much more were actually killed since Pakistan is notorious for hiding soldier deaths. And nine Pakistani soldiers were killed back in the 2016 skirmishes post Uri.

And as some other members mentioned, these aren't defenseless villagers. They are people who knowingly partake in a transnational illegal activity that brings large profits, and they are willing to do anything to protect the money they make from the illegal trade. Since you mentioned the US, read about how many times USBP agents were killed or seriously injured from Mexican cartel members and smugglers throwing rocks. Rocks are considered deadly weapons, if you throw a rock at a US police officer, you will get shot. Same with BSF.
