Dude.. Any illegal crossing is a legitimate target for the BSF and Pakistani rangers. Warnings and arrests are simply courtesies offered by the 2 sides to each other. There is no burden of proof on the BSF to show whether the woman was a legitimate threat or if warnings were offered. And I guess we all will agree that INdia and Pakistan are not in a courtesy offering mode at this time.

And really you never know. Pakistani terrorists/freedom fighters (who habitually cross into India) have an old habit of aping extremists in the middle east, and with the news ripe about how IS and others are rampantly indulging in woman slavery, this woman could have been a comfort woman from Pakistan being brought along with the latest batch of infiltrators trying to get into India.

Just do us all a favor and stop with assumptions.

Its all about threat perception. The probability of a Bangladeshi entering India to carry terror strikes is significantly lower than that of a Pakistani doing the same. hence different treatment.

There is a reason for that, specially on the Pakistani side. After all, Pakistan is famous for its "non state actors" (civilians) who habitually try to cross into India and who knows which idiot of them has a few hundred grams of RDX strapped to his / her torso.

anyway, someone crossing over such a sensitive border and then not responding to warnings, really has a very low life expectancy.

Non state actors are more dangerous than people in uniform. Armed forces are responsible entities and anything they do has consequences.
Also, most of it is well thought out, and we more or less know what is going to happen. For example if PA shells on border, we will match it or vice versa. If PA kills patrolling party, the numbers are usually settled.

But if civilians do criminal activities, many state in the region go.. oops... non state actors, we did not do anything, their fault. (which in many cases is true)
There is no way to stop or predict behaviour, and if the area is not in your control, you have little option than to take offensive step.

How would you know if it is a woman or a man when he /she is crossing the border at night in the dark?, how would know if shewas unarmed or armed when she was crossing the the border? modi has been released by the India's highest court ,supreme court,long ago he ain't a mass murderer,so stop apeasing someone on the form and stop bullshitting and acting as an igniorant ,she was crossing the International border not haveing a walk down the park at late in the night,intruder should have froze when he/she was warned,instead f heading toward the soilders and getting killed in the act.
