They said a 'flag meeting' of ground commanders has been sought by the BSF along the border and it is currently underway. The relations between the BSF and the BGB have been very cordial for decades and there has never been an incident of firing between the two forces.

The relation was never cordial except that Hasina govt forces the BGB to keep it friendly. Our people get killed by BSF and BGB smiles but they actually grind teeth. BGB officers from BA will remember how Hasina' Jubo League hooligans under Taposh and Nanak conspired to kill their compatriots in Peelkhana. 56 of the Officers!!
