BSF Jawan Killed, Another Injured in 'Firing by Bangladesh Guards' in Bengal's Murshidabad Dist

He has tried quite a few wigs since he accepted the FM portfolio - but none of them fit his odd shaped conical head.

Apparently he's too cheap to go for Rogaine hair growth treatment or at least get a better wig. No surprise considering his idiotic 'husband-wife' comment describing Bangladesh-India relations...

Can you imagine the younger 'kept' woman (pretty sure he has one) watching him taking off the wig (toupee) in front of her. That would be worth some horror movie theatrics. :woot:

:omghaha::omghaha::omghaha::omghaha::omghaha:

He may consult our Sheikh Rasheed (AKA Sheeda Tully), the Railway Minister, who also wears a wig.

I heard from my dad that these indian fighters (SU-7's and 9's) were so decrepit from bad maintenance that quite a few of them crashed while dive-bombing Dhaka's airbase. I heard it was spectacular to watch F-86's dog-fight MiG-21's over the skies of Dhaka.

Kudos to these brave pilots in the PAF F-86's. Jumping in with both feet into a melee when you know chances are slim you are coming back...you can't assign political labels for these pilots. These pilots were working folks just trying to save their country. When PAF stacked the cards against them
True, that’s why imo men like matiur are no hero. Other Bengali pilots either quit the force officially to join the cause or didn’t fight for either side. Saiful, Kilo flight operators are heroes... not Matiur.
That’s like saying Mir Zafar is a hero

In insurgencies, counter-insurgencies and wars for liberation, it is very difficult, for the combatants, to maintain higher levels of principles and values. So, one has give to them some leverage and space, on this account.

Show some respect. Don't you know that you are responding to a poster, in whose "house", "Gandhi G' himself roams about.:lol::lol:

Attacking personally and all eh ? Very classy

Quite clearly I have hurt some sensitive Pakistani and Jamaati egos here with some hardcore truth bombs about history. Keep crying and keep trying ;)

A jab or pun at the "Username or ID", which is a fabricated identity, in any case, cannot be called "personal" attack.

O course, India has a lot of hardcore elements; but truth is not one of them.

Keep crying and keep trying ;)

Same is recommended for you.

Well done to the BGM please send my warm salam to them. These filth are great at killing civilians but seem to suck when it comes to real fighting.
Tell the boys at the BGM to open fire first and forget about any questions.

Bro, it is BGB by the way.:-)

Yes these cowards are only good for terrorising innocent civilians in BD and Kashmir but get mown down like grass when they have to face actual soldiers, be it either Pakistani or BD'shi.

Hopefully let this be a lesson to BSF that they need to treat BD and BD'shis with respect.

Who killed 93 of 400 enemy soldiers despite being only 13 in number? BSF or BGB? Ask bluesky if you don't believe me.
It was IA troops that entered BD land after midnight to revenge for BSF humiliation in its Padua Border Outpost two days before. Our BDR captured 32 BSF troops there on 15 April 2001. India was constructing permanent structures on that land which was part of east Pakistan but was stolen in 1971 by IA because of its strategic location.

IA troops attacked Boroibari BDR BOP 200 km away from Padua. BDR camp was alerted by a small village boy. BDR troops took positions and waited for the IA troops to come near. The result was fighting at the dark of night. 3 of BDR troops were killed but 93 of IA troops died. Only 16 bodies were found inside BD and others were carried away by their compatriots.

So, does it prove that our troops are trigger-happy? When IA/BSF troops enter our land it is their solemn duty to fight them. Indians would have been happy to see 13 BDR troops fleeing their BoP instead of fighting a 400-strong Indian troop.

Illegal Indian intruders were going berserk on BD these days by active support of BSF. From Comilla border they supply illegal drugs, from Sylhet border they'd stolen hundrads of BD cows and kidnapped a man because a Khasia tribal woman mother of five left home for BD, in love with a BD man And from bay of bengal & padma river they steal BD fish. All these news were brewing up at the same time. Something was bound to happen. BGB is too modest and just arrest those illegal intruders, instead of shoot at sight like BSF.

If Indians learnt then they wouldn’t have done anything father 2000s but they never learn from their mistakes

That is because BR was disbanded and till now docile BGB brought in. Indians think they can do anything with no consequences.

There is only so much crap that BGB can take from the BSF before something like this was bound to happen. If Hasina is smart she will allow BGB a free hand to shoot BSF when required.

Tigers always breeds tigers.

You can change a forces name or their uniform but you can't change their history. BGB's history & origin remains the same.

No matter how much one try, it can't be turned around.

This is a notion that's far beyond the grasp of Mir Jafars or sanghi rss rats.

BGB is still the same Fighting Force it was 19 years ago in Battle of Roumari. Sanghi scums shall keep that in mind before trying their patience.

Except for time to time actions BGB cannot repulse the Indian moves because of Hasina backlash.

We need to increase funding (i.e. men, weapons and materiel such as more advanced sensor/mobility resources) for both BGB and Coast Guard.

Coast Guard development is continuing at a brisk pace per Coast Guard Goal 2030 - but BGB funding and development is deficient and is also a need of the hour.

The Coast Guard needs far more frequent patrols, both from air and of course at sea (with three endurance levels and three sizes of patrol vessels - for inshore coastal, pelagic and open sea patrols).

Padma Class and Shobuj Bangla class IPV needed for Coastal patrol (half a dozen plus made at KSY and DEW in Narayanganj, rest in pipeline)

Bangladesh is supposed to receive a few older refurbished Japanese Coast Guard Open Sea Patrol Vessels.

I forgot to list the Sonadia Class IPV - batch of four recently built at DEW along with the Shobuj Bangla Class. Important to note that I only listed new Coast Guard types. There are tons of similar IPV types (up to 300 ton displacement) built locally over the past four decades.

There are also quite a few smaller types for harbor patrol usage, two main types are Defender class (at least 35 in use) and Metal Shark models (at least 9 in use). There are other local-built aluminium hull types as well (such as inboard engine powered HPB's (built at DEW) - see past these two types.

BGB is supposed to recruit about 15 thousands more troops in the coming years, which will bring it's numbers to about 70,000 more or less.

Also, they have signed a deal in last December for two helicopters for the Air Wing.Future plan is to eventually have four Air Wings.
BGB also has it's own intelligence unit & special force.

As for the future, quoted from Wikipedia :
BGB has adopted a long term modernization plan named "BGB Goal 2041" in 2017. The plan intends to make BGB a well-trained, well equipped and technologically advanced force.
In short terms, BGB plans for structural and manpower expansion. A
new region (equivalent to division ) will be raised in Ramu of Cox's Bazar.Three new sectors (equivalent to
brigade ) will be raised at Ali Kadam of Bandarban,Naogaon and Jessore.
Eight new battalions will
be formed at Jhikargacha of Jessore,Meherpur, Khagrachari ,Boro Mowdok of Bandarban , Gazipur ,
Narayanganj and Kulaura of Maulavibazar.
Two riverine battalions
will be raised in BGB at
Nildumur of Shatkhira
and Teknaf of Cox's Bazar. They are the first two units of BGB who will be able to operate in riverine borders and chars ( River island). The number of personnel will be increased from 50000 to 65000 soon. 124
Border Out Posts (BOP)
and 70 heli-support BOPs are being set up in the border areas of hilly districts along the
border with Myanmar.
128 Border Sentri Posts
(BSP) are being constructed between the
distant BOPs. BGB members ae being
equipped with bulletproof vests and ballistic helmet.
A Quick Response Force
will be established for
BGB. The force will work
to supply modern arms
and ammunition swiftly
to border points in case
of any emergency. [48]
For smooth operation in
the border areas, border
roads are being
constructed. In BGB day
2017 , prime minister said that the government has undertaken a plan to
construct a total of 3,167 km ring road across the borders with India and Myanmar.
BGB intends to go three
dimensional as per the
plan. Bangladesh government has already
approved the proposal
for buying two Mi-171E
helicopters from Russia
at a cost of Tk. 355.10 crore. However,Bangladesh Air Force pilots will fly the helicopters initially. A heliport with hangar is being set up at Baitul
Izzat in Chittagong.
Eventually, BGB plans to have four aviation
wings.
To effectively monitor
the border, BGB plans to
add modern technology
to the border management. The plan
is to set up cameras,
night vision goggles and
infrared sensors throughout the border.
BGB plans to achieve 3I
(Information,Identification,Intervention)capabilities
in the border in long
term. Having Radar and Satellite monitoring facilities in the border
are also planned.
