Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch on Friday threatened to pull the plug on oil exploration work if his province is not handed its due shares, as guaranteed by the 18th amendment of the Constitution.

“Under the 18th Amendment [of constitution], 50 per cent share should be given to Balochistan from OGDCL, PPL and all other companies,” the chief minister said on the floor of the Balochistan Assembly.

Dr Abdul Malik’s warning came during a debate on a resolution advanced by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Samina Khan to shift the head office of Sui Southern Gas from Karachi to Quetta.

It's gonna sound bad but it's the same situation with kpk where hydro revenues haven't been paid, I believe the matter has gone to court.

I think dr Malik should pull the plug and kpk threaten to shut down tarbela until all dues are paid.

Smaller provinces are being taken Advantage of and this should stop, time for direct action.

International norm is 12-18% not 50%.
USA pays 12-18% of revenue to the state where Oil Gas is discovered.
Problem with Balochistan is they are way too greedy.

Balochistan is completely different story. Besides, I don't think he is really concerned about Balochi right, this might be some pressure tactics against PML-N govt in federal.
