You are right. But it is a goal of the West, not Russia. Task - to draw Russia into Ukrainian civil war and try to hold a "color revolution" in Moscow, plunging Russia into a permanent chaos. This war will be pulling all the country's resources, diverting it from foreign policy.

Human shield? How about the Ukrainian military stop using artillery in civilian areas? Not sure what media you watch but it is likely western, and the amount of distortion/sympathy in Ukraine's favor is unbelievable. There are entire neighborhoods that are completely destroyed. Ukraine has been bombing residential/civilian areas with no fighters anywhere near them such as schools, hospitals; artillery has even been fired into Russia badly wounding a customs officer.

It's Kiev that sent the fight to the east and not the other way around. Also Russia has nothing to do with this, even if there are fighters situated near civilians you never use artillery, this is common sense. Again, it is not Russia's fault but the fault of whoever decided to use artillery knowing full well that there are civilians that could be killed. What we see in Ukraine are war crimes, funny how the west ignores it, in fact it supports it. How about Sanctions against Ukraine? Or a no fly zone? Ukraine has violated just about everything under the Geneva Convention, whether it be killing wounded, purposely targeting civilians more specifically Russian journalists, or cutting off water supplies.

Exactly my point sir.No sane person in his right mind could ever possibly order artillery or bomber strikes on civilian targets.Heck,Indian Army has to go through far worse in Kashmir valley.There the terrorists would often blend themselves in with the civilians,but Indian Army,regard less of how stiff resistance they have to face or how many casualties they have taken,has never ever directed any artillery or air strikes on them to avoid collateral damage.

But this disgusting western puppet regime in Ukraine has resorted to indiscriminate bombardment against innocent civilian population,showing little regard for their lives!!This is plain sick but neither the US nor a single so called civilised NATO country has so far bothered to even condemn this barbaric act of lunacy by their puppet regime,let alone taking any action!!Why would they,as it's serving their purposes just fine and so they have turned a blind eye on this incidents.Actually this whole sickening concept of striking down the civilian population has been invented and perfected by the US and NATO.They are the biggest threat to the humanity and they will pay for their crimes against humanity sooner than later.

But lets not forget the lies too. The Ukrainian government has been lying through its teeth. First in Odessa the protesters set themselves on fire and they were all Russian citizens, turned out to be a lie. Then rebels blew up an administrative building killing scores of civilians despite OSCE stating it was a Ukrainian airstrike. I guess a rebels had a jet pack and fired a salvo of rockets at the building. It's important to note that many large tree branches were knocked down which indicates that rocket fire hit those trees, which were quite far from the explosions.

The Ukrainian government also claimed one of its aircraft that was shot down was carrying "humanitarian aid" despite the fact that prior and after the aircraft was shot down no humanitarian aid was ever sent to any of the regions in east Ukraine. What else, oh all Russian media are terrorists, this democratic government is arresting and beating Russian journalists as well as killing them. Funny how in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, ect Russian journalists are fairly safe but in Ukraine they are strangely targeted by mortars and artillery despite having no weapons and being clothed as civilians.
