What's new

Brits would rather have been born Indian

. .
India's soft power at work :victory: India's soft power is next only to America

but if you are a bisexual like me then India is not the best place to be born in. but its not that bad either ;)

.
No offense, but why would anyone want to be born an Indian ?!

No offence but why would someone like to be born in SA? Do I need to even describe that minus the oil what would have been with you guys?

. .
Then what is the non-racial term for them?
Native Indians? Native Americans?

Where do they get the 'Indian' tag from?

@psycho, Columbus wanted to discover India, instead discovered US and started calling the natives 'Indians'.

Given the level of unemployment in UK, I am not surprised by the survey. Every where I see around, people are loosing jobs.

I agree British have a romanticized view of India, which is far from the reality.

But many Britishers who have traveled to India also like it a lot.May be some of those who voted for India here have traveled or lived in India before.

Not that i agree with them. Life in a third world country can only be better than in a first world country if you are very rich.

i think the british have a point. i have seen the lives of upper middle class urban indians. it awesome

UK is much much much better place to born and live than India....in fact, UK is the best and friendly place after the US for migrants..!

on a lighter note---Brits have lived their life in India...long 150 yrs....larger than a king size....now they have to live FOR India..:-)

How can you live a life without money.....Brits dont have enough jobs and they see India as best option to get decent job and spend money....look bigger picture...they did not choose even USA

dude, still there are many highly qualified Indias who go to/wish to go UK for Jobs....And, it seems those Brits who participated in poll might not have ever even moved out of the UK….If they see the reality of social security being enjoyed by them and compare it with country like India where government is only interested in TDS and leave you like an disowned orphan if some day you don’t have any job!..

loosing a job is thousand time more frequent than India....Can live on social security..do you....highly qualified India or Brit will have no problem to get a job any where in the world but how about common man in Britain.

those who live on social security can find no decent job in India. ever. They will struggle to feed them.
