British PM urges India to change mind on MMRCA

Right, agreed I went a bit off topic. What about you?
What was your rant about, which is nothing to do with what british PM said.

I just made a general argument that one should not attach emotions to historical events, else we will end up being enemy of many countries.
Nobody is saying we should not read history.

If you allow me to say something bit off topic, I believe our relationship with pakistan is unable to develop because we still see partition with emotion rather than objectively.

Look at the title and look what i posted - i was on topic and voicing my opinions on PDF. The British are the ones that delve into history and attempt to show that they are master.
You yet again wish to derail the thread and bring Pakistan now into this. Your mindset is clear for all to say. Either remain on topic and start another thread - or refrain from derailing a thread.
If you feel my personal views are wrong to air on a public forum with associates and friends then thats a matter for you. I will continue to voice my opinion. I will leave it their.

It's quite difficult to explain what things that constitute Indian culture are the things that we should be proud of and why.
why don't you consult some reputed Indian historian(I mean read) and try to understand why i meant there.

The real reason is giving too much importance to unneccessary people/countries , just take this thread for example...

i dont know why the brits are crying about suspending aid and biting the hand that feeds us (indians)....look how about we indians demand full payment of whatever the british took from us for 200 years, restore all artifacts, treasures that adorn their crown and museums and reparations to the families of those killed by their policies like the bengal famine....

move on...brits..the sun no longer rises in your empire....you are in the twilight of history..

British did not loan anything from us, they took things because they ruled on us. If we were ruling on british, I dont think our behavour would have been any different.
It is how that century was, dont judge people of those times by today's standards.

Yeah yeah usual bullshitting, UK flag explains everything... keep crying now :lol :

There is nothing wrong in asking to reconsider the deal. The deal is not signed yet. It still can go either way. So, What is the point of posting hateful messages ? It is pure business. Don't post your hateful crap against Britain or racial attacks.

Don't forget it is Britain who gave us a united powerful country called "India". Today there is a country called "India", it is because of Britain. If Britain didn't rule India, India would still be like small small tiny republic countries and we would still be dominated and ruled by Mohammedans. Dumb hindutvatis should not forget that and be thankful to Britain.

The British are losing their marbles. The victory of France has hurt them a lot and they are showing their anger on 'poor' India. They came a close second and must be proud of it. Now if BAE must survive, they have to close their factories in Britain and move to India's growing aerospace industry.

Brits are over-reacting . Their media as usual is particularly trying to incite xenophobia against India .

They already have so many orders with Austria and Saudis as customers as well . There will be more in the pipeline . This is the first victory for France . Dassault was gone if they had not won it .

I must say Europeans don't look as united as i thought .

The reaction from Germans , Russians , Americans and Swedes was far more mature and understanding .

British are not overreacting. We are overreacting about comments written in "Daily Mail", a notorious newspaper (for its right wing agenda).
Just think what an ordinary brit will think of us, if he reads comments written in "Times of India" or "rediff.com".

Nearly all of them are full of racist hatred (most often towards pakistan/china/muslims). Please read them and judge for yourself.

I saw similar comments in Telegraph as well yesterday . This is not the first time we have heard whining from Britishers about their aid to India as well .

Anyways I hope you are right . British is a valuable strategic partner for India . I hope the Brits will realise this and better sense will prevail.
British people are facing unprecedented misery for last few years. This cut that cut, everything cut.
Record number of people jobless, possibly will go to double dip recession.

Considering that was the case of India, how many Indians will like to donate huge amount to some other country which spends a lot in military/space technology which even Indians cant afford.

TATA alone in Uk employs 45,000 British workers who pay tax in UK all this talk of aid is just sour grapes

Those are nothing as compared to massive damage done by Islamic invaders.

Britain not only gave us united India, but also the western model of democracy, secularism which India successfully following still independence.

I don't believe Indian will suck that much of Islander mutants.
