And where did the Subcontinental Muslims get their caste system from ? It is certain that there is no social caste system among the Muslims of Palestine or Somalia ( @Hassan Al-Somal ? ) though there certainly and unfortunately will be economic caste / class ( rich, middle, poor ).

Britain and India have signed a new defence cooperation agreement and will look to complete a free trade deal by the end of the year, their leaders said after a meeting in New Delhi on Friday.

Key points:​

• The UK hopes the deal will move India away from its reliance on Russia
• Both leaders jointly called for an immediate ceasefire in Ukraine
• Gunfights broke out in the Kashmir region ahead of a planned Modi visit

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said the agreement would help move New Delhi away from its dependence on Russia by expanding economic and defence ties with the West, including British support of India manufacturing its weapons domestically.
Key to the agreement is an India-specific open general export licence to slash delivery times for weapons and other defence items.
Only the European Union and the United States currently have such licences.
Part of the British offer included a "next-generation" defence and security collaboration across land, sea, air, space and cyber, according to the British High Commission.
This includes support for new Indian-designed and -built fighter jets to help the country move away from its dependence on Russian-made weapons.
"Our relations have never been as strong or as good between us as they are now," Mr Johnson said.
The two leaders also spoke about the war in Ukraine, jointly calling for an immediate ceasefire.
Soon after his arrival in India on Thursday, Mr Johnson said he was aware of the close ties that India and Russia have shared.
"We have to reflect that reality. But clearly, I'll be talking about it to Narendra Modi," he said.

India abstained from a United Nations vote condemning the invasion and has not imposed sanctions on Moscow(Reuters: Ben Stansall)
While India has condemned the killings of civilians in Ukraine, it has so far not criticised Russian President Vladimir Putin, and abstained when the United Nations General Assembly voted to suspend Russia from the Human Rights Council.
Last month the United States attempted to move India away from Russia with its own offer of more defence and energy sales, after President Joe Biden called India "somewhat shaky" in acting against Russia.

Mr Johnson also announced new investments to the value of billions of dollars, and export deals in areas including software engineering, artificial intelligence and health, which he said would create almost 11,000 jobs across the UK.

Unrest in Kashmir ahead of PM visit​

Six suspected rebels and an Indian paramilitary officer were killed in two separate armed clashes in Indian-controlled Kashmir, police said, two days ahead of Mr Modi's visit to the disputed region.
A gunfight broke out on the outskirts of southern Jammu city early on Friday after police and soldiers spotted a group of militants in Sunjwan.

At least four soldiers and a policeman were also injured in the fighting, a police statement said.
Mr Modi is scheduled to speak in Jammu city on Sunday, in his first public event in the disputed region since New Delhi stripped the region of its semi-autonomous status in 2019 and divided it into two directly governed territories.
India and Pakistan both claim the divided territory of Kashmir in its entirety.
Rebels in the Indian-controlled portion of Kashmir have been fighting New Delhi's rule since 1989.

Subcontinental Muslims didn't fall from the sky. They belonged to a caste before converting and they belong to a caste even today. Islam did no good to them.

I am from Bengal where Muslims have more caste system and Hindus don't follow much caste system. I am talking from a neutral point of view.
