British Islamists plot against Pakistan

The head of Hizb-ul-Tahir in the UK Anjem Chouldray has long been suspecte of having links with the Finsbury Park cleric Abu- Hamza. When British troops were returing home from Afghanistan they had a parade in Luton in april 2009 and several Hizb-ul-Tahir members held up banners saying "Briitish troops go to hell" and " we will kill you all".

A couple of weeks later the Salafi centre was burned down in Luton in what was suspected to be a BNP arson attack in retalliation and several Hizb-ul-Tahir members were beaten up by right wing British Nationalists.

Several Muslims in the Luton community chased Hizb-ul-Tahir out of town and they are said to fear the BNP growing popularity.

Hizb-ul-tahir are banned im Britain but are camapigning for the ban to be lifted. With the recent swing to the right in British elections I doubt the group`s ban will be lifted.

Can you provide a reference for this, because as far as i know, they are not banned.

Nor is simply banning a group seen as helpful in British counter terrorism ideology, who would rather see a group monitored than banned. Even during the height of the troubles, the Sinn Fein (mouthpiece of the IRA) were not banned, although certain media restrictions were applied.

Banning troublsome political groups can be counter productive, as they will simply re-emerge with a new name, or worse...go underground.

Hibz Ut Tahrir is banned in Pakistan - Should it find expression on this forum, I am sure forum members are concerned.

Your whole post consists of fallacies from start to finish,

1)Anjum Choudhry is not the leader of H.T

2)H.T memebers had nothing to do with the protest in Luton

3)H.T members were not beaten up by right wing extremsts

4)H.T were not chased out of town

Please do a little research before you decide to post such grossly inaccurate information.

Hi,

So, basically england has been the training ground for the radicals---where they get their extremists ideas in the british mosques---get fired up---and then take a flight to pakistan to spread terrorism in pakistan and fight the pakistani army.

I mean to say---what the 'hay'. We have been blamed for the longest period of time---and it has been england---where they get radicalized. Right under the noses of the crown. W'Allah---.

Okay so you disagree with this information, but would you care to elaborate? And I've also noted that you seem to be the only one here defending them. We would love to know the source for your information in regards to a)Anjum Choudary not being their leader b)Their role (or lack of) in Luton c)That they're 'working for a better Pakistan'. Surely someone must've told you all this? Where did you hear/read it from? Lets see if its credible.
