Rate of education and industrialization in Sylhet still is on lower side. But, poverty among Sylhetis are rare. We're getting flooded by non Sylhetis from those areas you have mentioned bhai!Rate of education in Sylhet was not tops in Bangladesh in any case, that prize always went to Western Bangladesh as well as Comilla/Barisal a and Bikrampur/Munshiganj areas.
Bhai, our regionalism is the main reason Sylhet is a haven compared to any other division of Bangladesh. I would like to claim (without any data) we Sylhetis contribute more in Bangladesh per capita wise than anyone else. No offense intended bhai.But this is back-dated narrow regionalism
