That's true but they are under NATO nuclear weapon sharing agreement. Their launch codes and everything are under US control.

In turkey's case it is purely used as a buffer against Russia. Because russia would target turkey first in any conflict.

Come on, those weapons are only to be used in war time. And in all probabilities, only situation in which such use would be granted is a major war, perhaps where Russia or China is involved, in which case whether Turkey is "trusted" or not would not make any difference because Turkey's survival itself would be jeopardised in the first place.

This is not the same as possessing nuclear weapons. Rather its like using Turkey as a buffer in case of any major conflict.

Actually India is a sovereign country and there is no one who "allows" us or "dis-allows" us to do anything. The world sanctioned us as much as Pakistan when we developed nukes. Infact Ronald Reagan turned a blind eye to Pakistani nuke program in the 80s. I guess Pak was a Muslim country even then.

Do you know why an organization called NSG came into being ? To stop India from getting any nuclear technology, even civil.

CIA had an eye over Pakistani nuclear program all over the 80s and 90s and yet allowed it to continue in return for Pakistan support in the Soviet-Afghan war.

Other European members (Belgium, Germany, Italy, Netherlands) that have NATO nukes supplied by the US don't have the codes as well.
