Britain votes YES for intervention in Syria. RAF Aistrikes imminent

so will we get to see EF-2000 vs Su-35 dogfight????? :D my money is on Su-35!!!!
There are no Su-35 in Syria, just Su-30SM.

Russian Air Force has 3 Su-30, 16 Su-30M2, and 39 Su-30SM fighters as of November 2015

In November 2009, KnAAPO started manufacturing the first serial aircraft. On 11 October 2010, the first production Su-35S had completed general assembly. The first Su-35S took its maiden flight in May 2011. Following preliminary tests, the Russian Defence Ministry was expected to initiate state joint tests involving six Su-35s to further scrutinize systems such as weapons. In early 2012, two aircraft were reportedly planned for delivery in 2011, eight in 2012, twelve in 2013 and 2014, and fourteen in 2015; in 2014, the first delivery was now expected to take place that year.

Just the aerial adventures doesn't look like will be able to stop/finish Daesh or ISIL.Until they drop boots on the ground. This is not Afghanistan we are talking about: the graveyard of great powers of it's time. The terrain is not that ominous ,the area is relatively better developed to pose a better environment. But still Britain and rest of the allied forces are not talking about sending their ground troops," to save Britain" as they say from "the fear of terrorism".
Cautious?

Or is it like that they still not ready yet to be active on that front.
ISIL/DAESH/Talibans ,you name it, follow the same old guerrilla forces warfare. They do not sit in bunkers ,maintain cantonments which you can bomb the hell out and the enemy will retreat back to it's initial positions dejected and disheartened. You have to ensure a fullstop both on the flow of recruitment and the economic help. There is just not the Urban guerrilla warfare but another aspect to it,the cyber war. They have got enough social media site exposure, to deliver their messages and stay relevant by hook or by crook. What have the major powers done actually to curb it?

Let me put it in simple terms.
You bomb the area controlled by Daesh ,then there is a vacuum and the official rulers who are considered to have lost control over these territories will still be unable to control it effectively , why?
Because these terrorist organisation can gather , reorganize and arrange the money to destabilize the area in a matter of days.Just imposing the aerial warfare on the area, which hardly can discriminate between innocent civilians and the terrorists is like having no plan of attack.

It's hard to fathom that after facing talibans in Afghanistan the allies or the NATO states have still not learnt their lesson.Or if they have then why play naive ?

Can they not enforce peace through UN intervention. Why not use a platform that is available and has potential to play an effective role? Why bypass it and make it look like a puppet?
Every country from around the world ,i'm sure, can participate in that effort under the umbrella of UN peacekeeping forces. Those missions can at least guard that area with some local support and let the local regimes have some breathing space.

Well, why don't you document your case, if you believe otherwise?

Satellite imagery released in the last couple of days has exposed the presence of 28 Russian aircraft at al-Assad airfield, near Latakia, in western Syria.

The photographs taken from space gave us the possibility to identify the combat planes as 4x Su-30SMs, 12x Su-25s (based on their color scheme, these are Su-25SMs belonging to the 368th Assault Aviation Regiment from Budyonnovsk) and 12 Su-24M2s along with about a dozen helicopters, including 10 Mi-24PN, Mi-35M and a couple of Mi-8AMTSh choppers, from the 387th Army Aviation Air Base Budyonnovsk.
The Aviationist » Here’s how the Russian Air Force moved 28 aircraft to Syria (almost) undetected

Of the 28 Russian jets, four are believed to be SU-30 Flankers, while the rest are SU-24 Fencers and SU-25 Frogfoots — about a dozen of each.

While much of the media attention has focused on advanced Russian warplanes like the Sukhoi Su-30SM Flanker-H multirole fighter and Su-34 Fullback, U.S. Air Force officials note that there are only four each of those late-generation jets present in the theatre. Russia’s real combat power in the region comes from its force of two-dozen Su-25 Frogfoot close air support aircraft and Su-24 Fencer bombers.

In September 2015, six Su-34s arrived at Latakia airport in Syria, for attacks against ISIL forces.
Russia announced on 30 November 2015 that Su-34s in Syria had begun flying combat missions while armed with air-to-air missiles

The very fact that you're comparing a deep penetration and strike 'heavy' class fighter with a mid range fighter shows how much you know about this stuff. 'Nuff said.

You sure about India ??? I think India is with Israel and US...
America is preparing a war vs Russia, China and India in Syria.

East vs West show in Syria.

USA, UK, France, Germany vs Russia, Iran, Assad, China, india

USA is preparing the final strike vs non NATO countries.

Third worldwar will start by Russia, Assad bombing syrian refugees in Syria. The show has already started.

Like that distinction would prevent them to tangle in the real world. And, oh, you do realize that I didn't start the discussion of Typhoon versus Su-35? Meanwhile, you did finally work out that there are no Su-35 in Syria at present?

In July 2007, Indian Air Force Su-30MKI fighters participated in the Indra-Dhanush exercise with Royal Air Force's Typhoon. This was the first time that the two jets had taken part in such an exercise.[129][130] The IAF did not allow their pilots to use the MKI's radar during the exercise to protect the highly classified N011M Bars.[131] RAF Tornado pilots stated the Su-30MKI had superior manoeuvrability, but the IAF pilots were also impressed by the Typhoon's agility.[132] However, in one to one dogfights the Typhoon was found to be superior due to the fighter's 'next generation' technology.

so many of your posts are just plain BS. The canard for instance was added to stabilize heavier radars not for Single vs Twin seaters.

You feel a need to take a insulting position in every post you make? Keep it up. Substantively, where did I say or suggest that the canard presence is dependent on whether it is a single or twin seater? I simply pointed out some key differences between the three aircraft, for recognition purposes. Su-35 is not used in Syria. Therefor, the possibility of combat between Typhoon and Su-35 is non-existent at present in this theatre. If you believe otherwise, please state your case and document it.

Leytonstone Tube station stabbing a 'terrorist incident' - BBC News

I am only speculating that this is linked but if true we have got a BIG problem. If this attack was carried out in response to the yes vote then 2/3 days isn't much time to prepare for an attack, God help us when these animals have had longer.......

@FrenchPilot @mike2000 is back @Steve781 @Guynextdoor2

Even if its true, which it hasn't been confirmed yet. It doesn't justify anything whatsoever. As i said before these terrorists/extremist groups will use any reason to justify their actions just like in Pakistan(Lashkar-e-Omar ,Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP),Tehreek-e-Jaferia Pakistan (TJP),Al Qaeda, TTP), In India(Indian Mujahideen,Harkat Mujahideen, AL Badr, AL Umar Mujahideen, Maoist communist center etc etc) In Indonesia(Jemaah Islamiyah,Al-Qaeda group,Majelis Mujahidin Indonesia (Council of Indonesian Jihad Fighters), the Front Pembela Islam (Front of Islam Defenders), the Jema'ah Islamiyah (Islamic Congregation),Laskar Jihad (Warriors of Jihad)), In Tunisia(ISIS,Al Qaeda,Ansar al-Sharia, Tunisian Combat Group etc) , In China(The East Turkestan Islamic Movement) etc etc....i can go on the list is longggggg.

All these extremists groups have 1 thing in common: THEY WILL ALL USE EXCUSES LIKE YOURS TO EXPLAIN THEIR TERRORISTS ACTION.

Just like the woolwich attack few years ago when they stabbed the British security agent, they also gave another excuse/reason for doing so. As far as i know, we were not bombing Syria back then, plus our security services have thwarted several of their attacks way before we even started any campaign in Syria. Just because these terrorists actions didn't succeed back then doesn't means they haven't been trying. Using the Syrian excuse is just another cheap propaganda tactic they are using to recruit more naive/dumb Muslims to their cause and justify their actions(which they would have carried out regardless of Britain or any country bombing their safe haven in Syria). So i find it funny that some people fall for such cheap tricks.:pop:

I'm still waiting to see people give reason for all the terror groups who have been carrying out countless suicide bombings/killings of civilians in China, India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Chad, Tunisia, Indonesia, Thailand, Egypt, Mali, Niger, Iraq etc etc. IS IT ALSO BECAUSE ALL THESE COUNTRIES INTERVENED IN SYRIA?? LOL:bounce:

Well, why don't you document your case, if you believe otherwise?

At least Russia is a worthy adversary. They have quite decent military equipment/arsenal. All the P4 powers seems to be testing their weapons capabilities in Syria thanks to Assad hunger for power and Daesh like my Pakistani friend @Politico said.:cheesy:
