More highways/subways do not mean anything. Like I said before majority of the cities with highest quality of life are not shiny. Chinese cities atleast the modern ones look ugly to me. No originality just skylines. Your quality of life is not even better than countries like turkey or malaysia.

I told you that this trend is changing now, you just base your judgement on past figures, China just developed less than 10 years ago, there'll be some lag in some sections but we are gettting there very fast, as for how the Chinese people think about the west in general now, we know it better than you.

Nope it's not. Many of your rich individuals still choose to invest here, buy properties here, send their kids here, and often are ready to spend millions of pounds to gain citizenship or permanent residence. I see them here all the time(especially when I used to work as an estate agent years ago). Ruch Chinese, Russians, Saudis, Qataris, those from gulf States,Nigeria etc were among the most popular buyers investors. There is a reason why they choose Western countries to do this, has nothing to do with shiny skyscrapers, but with the legal system, educational standard, rule of law etc which guarantees their investments due to stability.
However, you can keep telling yourself that this doesn't exist or happens, if it makes you guys feel better then so be it

Theft is almost non existent in China so Chinese people by and large are not crimes conscious when traveling in other countries, but in UK theft is very common, Chinese must ajust to this culture shock for their own good.
Homeless people and druankards are everywhere at night in UK, if you visit UK, don't venture out only by yourself at night.
