Imran asks rulers to bring looted wealth back
Friday, August 30, 2013
LAHORE: PAKISTAN Tehrik-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan on Thursday said that he will shake hands with present government if they were successful in bringing back the public money taken away by Asif Zardari.
Addressing a gathering of party workers from NA-122 organised by Mian Aslam Iqbal in Samanabad, Imran Khan said even a single word uttered by him was taken as contempt of court but they did not take notice against massive rigging done by PML-N.
Imran Khan warned if no action is taken against rigging petitions filed by PTI, party workers will be ready to come on roads for protest and he (Khan) will lead protest himself. He said it seemed that a different law existed for PML-N and a different for PTI adding that his party would struggle for justice in a constitutional way.
The PTI chairman said that the PML-N had hijacked peoples mandate to find its way to power but the rulers failed to resolve even a single issue they had promised before coming into government.
