China Is Eager to Bring High-Speed Rail Expertise to the U.S.

The Chinese government has signed cooperation agreements with the State of California and General Electric to help build such lines. The agreements, both of which are preliminary, show China’s desire to become a big exporter and licensor of bullet trains traveling 215 miles an hour, an environmentally friendly technology in which China has raced past the United States in the last few years.

Do we spent too much on this?

The japsanese comfirmed chinese rail is better

best way of mass trasportation

Hmm this may very well be the solution to the Californian traffic jams.

actully it is under way

China-Lao-Thiland

China-Burmar

China-Pakistan

to thiland and burmar will use 250-300 km/h tech, to pakistan maybe 200-250 km/h. constructing and operating high speed train are still hard in high altitude mountainous area.

Americans don't need or want trains. They need more SUVs, preferably ones with as low of a fuel economy as possible, which personify the free, democratic and independent spirit of AMERICA.

Public transport? Sacrilege! Reliquinshing one's freedom of mobility to the government is so un-American!:usflag:
