Yes its on a minority community called romas or kolaizdhi (read as kolaichis) they dont marry outside of the community but for match making they hold yearly brides market where young men and women from kolaichi community gather up and then interact with each other. If a guy finds a girl attractive he negotiates with her parents to get amrried to her and then he agrees to pay some amount to brides parents to allow him to take her in marriage. The amount goes from 1000 euros to 10,000 euros.

They are sort of like parsis that they dont marry outside.
