The people here you are talking about know each other well and atleast one of them has political connection so the hate against ruling party and blind hate for Modi is obvious (also since Modi hopes to change how political parties compete with each other, not by vote politics but by development). For them every BJP supporter is a fascist. Their lot don't look for solutions rather they are happy to create more problems, frankly.

Actual fascists in this country are leftists. They way tear up Hinduism inside out in articles, movies, etc, for its superstitious and backward beliefs (which is although good thing i believe per) they never do that against minority religions because they may hurt their sentiments (or India will be seen as fascist state? **** sickular logic) Are majority people not human beings? They can't have religious sentiments? If leftists really like to provoke critical thinking, they better do that with every religion, equally.

Most of these leftists after some time become extremely sensitive to activities which they term as pseudo nationalism. They feel awkward when hear national anthem nearby, they shy from standing up on national anthem or feel its stupid to stand up. Then they start to believe everything non mainstream is the actual right thing. Its kind of a mental disorder.
