Breaking: Punjab Govt Responsible for Massacres in Model Town: Report

You should be ashamed of yourself and your people to have put your country in such a mess. Even if the ARMY comes in, what would happen? NS probably has cases ready to be filed in the Supreme Court and he will EASILY win. They'll also file treason cases against IK and Mullah Greed as anymore violence will easily constitute treason.

Oh the blackmailer who didn't even have a car and he started to threaten people to make monthly income out of them? And then he even threatened the owners of Avari and Marriott in Islamabad? He also paid a lot of other anchors on behalf of IK. I know this moron's in and out. This is IK's support system. Corrupted and entirely CLASSLESS people. BUT he thinks he wants to "Change" the system by introducing worst corrupted people on the planet through his party.

Practically he is right BUT in public perspective .. this is DENT a SERIOUS DENT but practical note: Abhe woh dhawa bhool deta hey apnay voters ko kahta hey jaoo hamla kardoo PM house pe aur is govt sameet samany diplomatic enclave hey theek rahayaga ??? anyone have any idea kitnay loog usmay maray jatay hain? aur kya hota hey next woh loog jo Karachi, Lahore, Gawadar and different parts of Pakistan may bhaeet kar ye samaj rahay hain kay iska impact khali Islamabad tak rahayga tu ye bohat bare ghalat fahmi hey... If PTI protest'rs turn into mob and strike diplomatic enclave, ministry, foreigners colonies... Be practical it will turn Pakistan into bigger bigger mess.... but again.. its serious DENT to PTI in public perspective...

The above is ALL democratic people trying to see 30K people doing a TRIBAL Civil Unrest to take down a 200 Milion nation. It is like hitting the wall.

Where are ALL the people who were arguing with me that IK's march is peaceful. When I told all of you that he wants body bags and that's what it'll come down to......??? 30K people doing a civil unrest and raping a democratic system of 200 MILLION people??? This is WHY I call this MOFO Taliban Khan.
Anyone seeing this peaceful out there??? You guys lie and misinform off your teeth. Its time for the government to file for Terrorism and Treason related charges on IK. The guy is greedy to be a PM which he can never get to through ACTUAL performance. Time to lock him up and let his 30K people cry daddy-fool!

Sorry to differ, with you friend!
Maybe they have some influence on LHC, but if it was the case then never a , lOwer court would have ordered the launching of the FIR, against them?
So , I guss I don't , think that LHC is going to do that, cause then it would be the end of the writ of LHC?
& judiciary knew it?

GUJRANWALA: A Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) supporter detained in the recent police crackdown in Punjab died on Wednesday under mysterious circumstances in the central jail of Gujranwala city.

The 35-year-old Shoaib was a resident of the Noor Bawa area of Gujranwala and had left home on the eve of August 13 to attend the march following which he was detained. His family had however claimed that he went missing.

The relatives said that they searched for Shoaib following his disappearance but could not get any news of his whereabouts.

His family members moreover said that they were informed on Tuesday night about Shoaib's death by the central jail's administration in Gujranwala.

Subsequently, jail authorities handed the body to Shoaib's family after conducting a postmortem. A report of the post mortem is still to come.

Police sources claim he died due to a heart attack. However, his brother said that Shoaib was subjected to torture during his detention leading to his death.

Previously, the Punjab police had rounded up over 300 PAT activists across Punjab in the week-long crackdown under the 16 Maintenance of Public Order Ordinance.

The police had rounded up 95 PAT workers in Rawalpindi, 23 in Jhelum, 39 in Attock and 20 in Chakwal.

Several other PAT workers were also arrested from Taxila and Wah Cantonment.

I've read the JIT report.

Too much is being made out of very little. The heart of the report are pages 26-29. Where they share their findings. Nobody is talking about what is written therein.

Any one can see how Punjab Government is actually responsible. But at what level? The way the report has been written, it is apparent that the responsibility will probably stop with DIG. Unless the telephone records are made available, not much can be said about politicians being directly involved. At this point JIT says nothing.

JIT also mentions a lot of matters that can not be concluded at this time. The part about implicating PM, CM, Hamza Shahbaz, Kh. Saad Rafiq, and Rana Sanaullah is an assertion of MuQ people, not something borne out by JIT findings. For that to happen, there needs to be more investigation with MuQ people joining the process.

The JIT gives the version of MuQ right at the beginning, which omits many details such as incitement of the crowd by TuQ, and from inside MuQ itslef. It also ignores the presence of armed guards, and their conduct. That 27 policemen were injured due to violence from MuQ, with 3 receiving bullet wounds is glossed over as well. There is also a crazy allegation that before launching of operation at night DIG threatened to kill TuQ's family at orders of Sharif brothers, while the evidence and record shows that DIG did not arrive at the scene before 8:45 the next morning.

The JIT clearly states that a total of ten fatalities had been investigated via post-mortem. 3 of those were due to 'positive angle' bullet wounds, which generally means bullet were fired from roofs (though it could also mean the person being bent when receiving the wound). 7 people died with straight firing, most probably by police.

The JIT claims that 98 people were injured, out of whom 27 were police personnel, 3 of whom were hit by bullets. The JIT says that in the lead up to the armed clash and indiscriminate firing a rumor has spread among police jawans that two of their numbers had been killed by people guarding MuQ entrance and that a small number of policemen had been abducted.

All the evidence points to local mis-handling, and not a conspiracy as is alleged. However, there needs to be a complete investigation, and that may take a few months at least. But Punjab Government can not absolve itself of some blame at least. In a mature democracy CM might have resigned until conclusion of investigations.

MuQ people are no angels. They are using dead bodies for politics. They had a hand in all that went down. PTI supporters are using JIT to support their leadership's demands without having any concrete idea about what is written in JIT.

This is pakistan's Amritsar massacre.
Wrong analogy. Totally wrong. Amritsar massacre was against an assembly of unarmed people who happened to be at a non-violent gathering.

This is different as evidence shows.
