Although on the surface of things it seems stupid for Afghans to attack us, they know they will have their asses handed over to them. Then why are they doing so?

Well if you have taken a look at the Afghan government and establishment behavior for the last 2 years the reason become obvious. Afghanistan is a divided nation, fragmanted and without a national cause to gather around. And what makes a nation unite, a foreign nemesis.

Take us for example, nothing unites us more than our enmity and if I may say hatred of India. So back in 2008 when tensions were high on our eastern border even the TTP was forced by public opinion to back down a bit and even declare support for Pak army against India.

This is my understanding of the things, Afghan government and establishment is trying to unite their people by creating a boogie man out of us.

So should we oblige them?

In 2001 Bangladesh border forces killed 16 Indian troops in a skirmish. And just like how we feel about supporting Afghans for so long and then they backstabbing us Indians must have felt the same way as they literally created Bangladesh. India could have decimated the Bangladeshis with all the firepower at its disposal, just like we can do to the Afghans. But they did not do that and today Bangladesh is their best chum. So we need patiance.

they can open other fronts or attack unmanned or lightly manned outposts along the border that goes for hundreds of miles. I expect skirmishes along Baluchistan and other parts of KPK as well. NDS got nothing to loose.. they will cause some disruption and run back to Kabul.

as said by Baoch Chief minister, Afghan agencies had been killing people in Balochsitan and dumping their bodies by the road sides to cause sectarian and ethnic conflicts and also general terrorism with the help of BLA by killing poor labour force working on developmental projects.

Totally false news, just to calm some public in Pakistan, in fact last night one of Pakistani post caught fire by Afghan border police's shelling.

ANAs firing resulted in martyrdom of 1 officer ...

In result heavy armour and arty was moved to the border..

The only post that literally caught fire (after destruction) was Javid Sanger post belonging to ANA that was directly hit by an Arty shell and resulted in multiple casualties of afghan soldiers (plenty of pics showing your casualties--- your own govt is claiming 5 dead - 3 soldiers -- I doubt 3 soldiers manned a bunker).. Any ways;

Pakistan needs to escalate it all across durand line. Lets lure the Afghan Army towards the border, that will give the Afghan Taliban plenty of space to maneuver in their march towards Kabul. The Kabul regime think they can sandwich us along with their partner India, lets turn the table on them.

Time has come to send a message to Afghanistan. Pakistan must secure its borders and not allow Afghans to cross it at will. No country on earth has a border where people can roam around as freely as the Pak Afghan border. I concur that Pakistan must put relentless pressure on Afghanistan as far as the border is concerned.

There are tons of videos in fb posted by Afghan border forces they don't fight from bunkers.

The Afghans need to accept the reality. Pakistan won't allow border movement anymore. The Pak Afghan border is about to change drastically and cross border movement is a thing of the past. The sooner Afghans accept this reality the better. Border management should have been imposed long ago by Pakistan.
