Breaking on Tarmak007: Tejas LSP-5 to fly today

i think more poilet friendly cockpit.

It will Have an Auto Pilot feature(The autopilot is indigenously developed by the national control law team of National Aerospace Laboratories) and The new cockpit will be more user friendly and enhance night flying capabilities...
 
Everything as in LSP 4 BUT THIS TIME THERE ARE SOME NEW STUFF ADDED LIKE NIGHT VISION ENABLE COCKPIT ,SOME NEW PILOT FRIENDLY INPUTS AND ALSO AUTOPILOT SYSTEM.
 

Limited Series Production (LSP) aircraft


LSP-1 (KH2011) - 25 April 2007
LSP-2 (KH2012) - 16 June 2008 This is the first LCA fitted with GE-404 IN20 engine.
LSP-3 23 April 2010 The first aircraft to have the Hybrid MMR radar[28] and will be close to the IOC standard.
LSP-4 (KH2014) - 2 June 2010 The first aircraft that was flown in the configuration that will be delivered to the Indian Air Force In addition to the Hybrid MMR, the aircraft also flew with a functioning Countermeasure Dispensing System
LSP-5 - Planned to fly in November 2010. In addition to all the systems fitted in LSP-4, it will have night lighting within the cockpit, and an auto-pilot.
LSP-6 to LSP-8 - Planned to fly by late 2010.
SP-1 to SP-40 - Planned to fly by late 2013.
 
The EL/M-2032 radar was used in LSP-3 tejas..any idea which new component they are testing in LSP-5?

The Lsp 5 was flight tested today with IOC standard with all sensor including night lighting within the cockpit, and an auto-pilot.

This is another step forward to realize the indigenous dream. Hope the steps to IOC AND FOC go on smooth and without any glitches.

Please help me get this. I saw 2 LCAs flying today. One is LSP5 and it might have been joined by LSP4.

LSP-5 was piloted by Lt Cdr Ankur Jain of LCA Navy Team at NFTC and the chase aircraft was a PV-3 piloted by Gp Capt Thomas..
 
Seniors what is difference between LSP 4 and LSP 5 and how many more versions are yet to come, aslo do we are developing our own avionics ?

LSP 5 Has Enhanced Cockpit Design and Displays which Enhances the Night flying capabilities and Auto Pilot functions....

Indian Avionics are Not Only Put to Use In Su 30 MKI, but we also export it via Russia
