The US has the most advanced, capable military in human history. Once the US shreds your command and control networks, and gains air superiority Iran has lost. Your Navy will then be blown out of the water. The result is inevitable.
US defense officials have already confirmed that US intelligence satellites have Iranian short and medium ballistic missiles in their sights.

The Iranian military will be crushed. Iran will only have the capability to target US assets through terror attacks when it’s all said and done.

US could have conquered Afghanistan quite fast. But then they would have to eradicate civilian population with Taliban. Trouble was that US was trying to establish an alternative government in Afghanistan. This is a very different target than say defeating a nation in military conflict and making it do your policy bidding.

Here Trump wants to compel Iran to do a specific thing : Not retaliate when they take out few targets. He might just be able to do it.

I am all for domestic reform FROM WITHIN but these idiots think you can just remove the current ruling system and tomorrow the Shah is back in Iran, girls are running around naked, men are drinking alcohol, and Googoosh is singing in Tehran at meydoone azadi.

As Iraq, Syria, and Libya has shown us when a country with multi ethnic dimensions falls it rips apart and becomes a failed state with hundreds of thousands of casualties (possibly millions).

When that happens what will these Toronto, Los Angeles, Berlin, Liberal Iranians do? They will say “ oops oh well” and go back to living their life while millions in Iran suffer the consequences.

Sorry I am a realist and believe the current ruling system should change from within iran over time naturally.
