Birmingham police visited the Mosque where the Kiling happened and talked to people..They confirmed that the police are treating the incident as Murder.
Last night over 1000 youths were stood guard in south hall area according to the sikh spokesman.
He is doing this so people don't escalate this into a race riot; similar incident happened in '05. I only have my utmost respect for him, forgiving a killer is something where 'hard' isn't strong enough of a word.
This happened around 10-15 mins walk from where I live, previous night looters rampaged on the local high street destroying it. The hospital where he was taken to is literally another 5 mins away as well as a prison. This is getting sick, people need to stop; go get a job instead of taking others livelihoods.
Very sad incident.
Its always the innocent who get caught up in such events.
I hope the police get tough with these shameless looters.
how is it in your area now?

I think it is about time British troops are called to reign in. For a protest against the unlawful killing of a single man, this has turned really violent and nasty. Martial law is the only viable solution as police is unable to do anything.
who were behind these riots? what were the ethnic orgins of the majority of individuals involved?
