INMHO if his family hasn't paid the the ransom his recovery is mostly a coincidence. I don't think that the US and Afghans launched this OP just to rescue him. As for a common man not having any value in Pakistan, well that is something we all are exposed to on regular basis...........and it indeed is a shame, this is a country for the influential. After completing my degree i am so getting out of here, even thou i don't enjoy living in UK as well.
ANSF referred as bad guys in Pakistan! .. by whom ?
If you stop acting as a mini India then Pakistan might consider helping.
Well for starters you can quickly glance at some of the replies to my post, instead of appreciating the good role played by the ANSF to free a Pakistani citizen and killing 4 good Taliban in the process.
I am also appalled by the replies of some of the keyboard warriors who themselves are sitting in the West and give us lessons on on patriotism and nationhood.
One of the genius went on even to say, whether this news is worth celebrating on, while he enjoys the good life in the Netherlands, while a family who happen to be the PM of Pakistan was going through hell in the last so man years beacause their loved one was in the hands of the Good Talis.
Makes you think, No?
Instead of a grand statement, can you elaborate how Afghanistan is acting like a mini India, some facts and figures would help. Seems to me you are one of those who follow the same line as what the GHQ backed media tells you.
You mean that those who are saying that the Afghan refuges in Pakistan should be sent back to Afghanistan are wring? is it that ir i just miss understood you?ANSF special forces assisted by US forces rescured the son of ex PM of Pakistan in Ghanzi province.
The son of the ex PM was kidnapped in Pakistan a few years ago.
Moral of the story :
- Ghazni = A major center of the good Taliban, where they easily know the movements of anyone and everyone, probably the PM's son was held in one of their camps.
- ANSF : Labeled by some in Pakistan as the bad guys, rescues the PM's son returning him back to Pakistan with respect. They could have lost some of the brave soldiers in this operation.
Now those advocating for the return of the Talis to Afghanistan should do the math.
/Peace

Good news. May be he was found alive by chance during a random operation conducted by Afghan and American forves.Anyways Afghan govt is handing him over to Pak authorities on urgent basis which is appreciated. No one deserved to be kidnapped by some one as talibans or Isis.

Will like to know what actually you meant by this sir,
No i am doing my current degree from Islamabad Pakistan. Horrible experience it was BTW.so after completing your degree in UK you are going to leave Pakistan?
havent you already left Pakistan to complete your degree
Finally a sane post though it was not a random operation, the NDS has him in sight for a couple of weeks and pounced on him when the best chance availed.
- Nope, Afghans must return to Afghanistan asap, yesterday I would say rather than today, that urgent.
I am talking about the narrative and GHQ policy of differentiating between bad and good taliban, when you back the good taliban you make the ANSF the enemy as thus the bad guys.
It is Pakistani government who is in the driving of seat of negotiatians. It is our foriegn minister equivalent who is taking the lead. There is no GHQ narrative. There is only one that is State and Government of Pakistan Narrative. If this is the level of supposed ignorane among afghanis regarding Pakistani policy narrative, So help them God in dealing with their own Talis

To be fair this was lead by US army special forces and neither was aware of the presence of Gillani Sahib, I think it was good for Gillani that Saleh is no longer affiliated with Afghan security forces as he would have probably held onto Gillani for purposes of leverage.ANSF special forces assisted by US forces rescured the son of ex PM of Pakistan in Ghanzi province.

Here is a quick
Seriously bro are you telling me that foreign policy of Pakistan vis-a-vis Afghanistan, India and China is run by non other than Sartaj Aziz and not from the GHQ? If you believe that then I am super surprised as to how out of touch with the reality you are
