Well.............. asking this question...contempt of court ... lolzzz . Judges decline it suo moto , but Aitzaz Ahsan said it is suo moto..


He is not beggar , its between govt and judiciary . He has nothing to do.

But COAS is the beneficiary.

It's clearly a suo moto because he himself invoked article 183.


Turning down is not in his hands. Extension is an order not an offer.

He can later resign but this action will hit the morale of our forces.

Why would it hit morale of the army. Many COAS came and went. It is a normal practice.

In fact granting an extension shall demoralize some senior lieutenants who could have become COAS and perhaps a better one.
