Breaking News: Taliban attack Afghan parliament, clashes continue

Taliban militants have attacked the compound of Afghan parliament in capital Kabul.

Afghan MPs were seen in TV footage leaving the house.

Officials have not yet released information regarding the situation in parliament located in Darul Aman, an important part of Kabul city.

Security forces have cordoned off the area and eye witnesses report gun shots in the area after a loud explosion.

Taliban claim responsibility for the attack.

LIVE: Suicide attack on Afghan Parliament in Kabul, explosions heard | Zee News

• According to the latest report, Afghan Taliban has claimed the responsibility for the suicide attack.
• The attack was carried out at the building of Wolesi Jirga or lower house of parliament on Darul Aman road by a group of suicide bombers, the Pajhwok news cited eyewitnesses as saying.
• According to reports, the Parliament was in session and the Speaker was at the podium when the cameras started to shake and explosions were heard, says Al Jazeera's Jennifer Glasse.
• Ministry of Interior spokesman Sediq Sediqqi confirmed the explosions and said that security forces have been rushed to the Parliament.
• So far, six explosions heard. The Members of the Parliament has been evacuated from the lower house.
• Explosions, gunfire heard outside the Parliament.

In what is apparently a suicide attack, a series of explosions were heard outside the Afghan Parliament on Monday morning.

There was no immediate report on the casualties, however the Parliament building is being evacuated, reports the BBC.

You're right, india can't bear to see Pakistan-Afghanistan relations warming and thus wants to sabotage the relations through its proxy militant organizations:

Probably it is India again in turn to blame Pakistan by some terrorists groups.

Afghanistan and Pakistan are becoming much better in relationships and military ties exchange while India is very upset with everything according to new policy of Afghanistan-Pakistan. India doesn't like to see Ashraf Ghani coming closer to Pakistan and regular visits.

strategic assets of Pakistan strikes again.

so ISI start sending their assets to afghanistan. pakistan army can't accept democracy neither in theirown country or in neighboring country. what pakistan army want is some terrorists to shoot each other so all the money of national budget can be taken by army generals. politicians are main revels for pakistan army.

that fool Ghani is the reason for this. he should think about this before signing MoU with ISI dipite the afghan military generals objected to this.
