Breaking News: Netanyahu pledges to annex occupied Jordan Valley

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to annex part of the occupied West Bank on the border with Jordan if he is voted back into office next week.

Mr Netanyahu said he would apply "Israeli sovereignty over the Jordan Valley and northern Dead Sea".

Such a move would be popular with right-wing parties which he would have to depend upon to form a coalition but fiercely opposed by Palestinians.

Israel has occupied the West Bank since 1967 but stopped short of annexation.

Palestinians claim the whole of the West Bank for a future independent state. Mr Netanyahu has previously insisted that Israel would always retain a presence in the Jordan Valley for security purposes.

Israel occupied the West Bank, along with East Jerusalem, Gaza and the Syrian Golan Heights, in the 1967 Middle East war. It effectively annexed East Jerusalem in 1980, and the Golan Heights in 1981, although neither move was accepted internationally for decades.

The Trump administration has since recognised both steps, overturning previous US policy.

It seems that the disease is spreading and India and Israel are working on the same agendas.
More reason Pakistan should stand firm on Kashmir and hit India hard, if things are not settled soon.

There is no other option but war. Pakistan should start to arm and train Kashmiris and be ready to impose a long and bleeding 5th Generation war on India. It has to be done, no other option. India and Israel are not the countries who are working on reasons and would understand voices of peace.
Peace overtures are nothing more than appeasing these terrorists states.

I would love to see the united against any injustice and not just that but to fight any proxy that divide Muslims in GCC and ME . Arabs are battle hardened people , they are fighting for years now , imagine if they put that effort and experience to fight enemies of Islam ,and ME ..

I doubt that would happen they are fully occupied with Yemen for now, Iran has make sure that Arab armies are confined in Yemen for coming decades hence weakening their Military and economic situation , and keep the region stuck in sectarian conflict .
