Probably a suggestion, which our very competent media has turned into 'asking' to resign. BTW, there is a huge difference between 'asking' and 'requiring'.

COAS cant ask for a resignation in his capacity as COAS, but when the PM would drag him into politics and ask for 'facilitation' or 'mediation', than things like this are bound to happen. Sane people are saying this from day one, talk with IK/TAQ and get it resolved among yourself. Had the government had agreed to open up those 4 constituencies for re-counting, Nawaz would not have to see this day.
