I will still say, Killing the foot soldiers is futile exercise neither firing artillery will solve the problem. Our agencies should arrange for hitting where it hurt most, target the families and financial hubs of string pullers.

We are all tired of conveying this message. Unless a big cleaning operation across the border isn't carried out you can just hope to prevent such attacks. It is like trying to empty the ocean with a thimble. We already know who is carrying out the attacks. We also know where the HQ is. Yet, our naive COAS is under the illusion that working with the same country that sponsors these attacks is the way forward. Best of luck is all I can say.

I'm afraid this is not a final attempt, but a revival. We are trying to extinguish a raging bushfire with a bucket. I can already notice how some people are falling into the same trap of accepting these attacks as something of a routine exercise. As long as we prevent attacks we are doing good. Wrong attitude. We must go after the mother ship which is located in Afghanistan. If we don't, such attacks are already becoming a daily affair.

چارسدہ میں ضلع کچہری پر حملہ، تین خودکش حملہ آوروں سمیت سات ہلاک

پاکستان کے صوبہ خیبر پختونخوا کے شہر چارسدہ کے حکام کے مطابق ضلع کچہری پر شدت پسندوں کے حملے میں کم از کم چار افراد ہلاک ہوئے ہیں جبکہ پولیس نے تینوں خودکش حملہ آوروں کو گولی مار کر ہلاک کر دیا ہے۔

چارسدہ کے ضلعی پولیس افسر سہیل خالد نے بی بی سی اردو کو بتایا کہ تین خودکش حملہ آوروں نے منگل کی صبح چارسدہ کی تنگی ضلعی کچہری میں داخل ہونے کی کوشش کی۔

نامہ نگار عزیز اللہ خان کے مطابق ڈی پی اور کا کہنا تھا کہ کچہری کی عمارت پر تعینات سکیورٹی اہلکاروں نے ان حملہ آوروں کو نشانہ بنایا اور ان میں سے دو کی خودکش جیکٹیں پھٹنے سے دھماکے ہوئے جبکہ تیسرا دھماکہ حملہ آوروں کی جانب سے پھینکے گئے دستی بم کے پھٹنے سے ہوا۔

سہیل خالد کے مطابق دھماکے کے نتیجے میں چار افراد ہلاک اور 15 زخمی ہوئے ہیں۔

چارسدہ کے ڈپٹی کمشنر طاہر ظفر نے مقامی ذرائع ابلاغ سے بات کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ سکیورٹی سخت ہونے کی وجہ سے شدت پسند سیشن کورٹ کے احاطے میں داخل نہیں ہو سکے۔

دھماکے کے بعد سکیورٹی فورسز نے علاقے کو گھیرے میں لے لیا اور ڈی جی ریسکیو اسد علی خان کے مطابق پشاور اور مردان سے بھی امدادی ٹیمیں جائے وقوعہ کی جانب روانہ کر دی گئیں۔

خیبر پختونخوا کے وزیرِ صحت شہرام ترکئی نے نجی ٹی وی چینل دنیا نیوز سے بات کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ چارسدہ، مردان اور پشاور کے ہسپتالوں میں ہنگامی حالت نافذ کر دی گئی ہے۔

پاکستان میں گذشتہ کچھ عرصے سے وکلا کو شدت پسندی کے واقعات میں ہدف بنانے کا رجحان سامنے آیا ہے اور خیبر پختونخوا کے ضلع مردان کی ضلع کچہری کو بھی گذشتہ برس ستمبر میں خودکش حملے کا نشانہ بنایا گیا تھا۔

خیال رہے کہ پاکستان میں گذشتہ دو ہفتوں کے دوران شدت پسندی کے واقعات میں اچانک اضافہ دیکھا گیا ہے۔

اس عرصے میں خودکش دھماکوں اور فائرنگ کے واقعات میں 100 سے زیادہ افراد ہلاک اور سینکڑوں زخمی ہوئے ہیں۔

ان واقعات کے بعد جہاں ملک بھر میں شدت پسندوں اور ان کے سہولت کاروں کے خلاف کارروائیاں جاری ہیں وہیں پاکستان اور افغانستان کی سرحد کو بھی سکیورٹی خدشات کی بنا پر بند کیا جا چکا ہے۔

The soft approach won't work anymore. The we will work together approach has failed years ago. We must go after the den where the terror factories are churning out attackers against Pakistan. It is an established fact that Afghanistan is a problem. A major problem.
