I have personally visited temples in nepal where the worship the male penis and female vagina. I was rather shocked to see 6ft plus penis with women rubbing againstthem for fertitily. So i agree they worship just about anything but indont think its a good idea

All religions are weird..I too find weird people defending some religious figure who married a 6 year old and had sex with her when she was only 9 .
I know a reliious group which tries to defend their leader who married his daughter in law by forcing his son to divorce her...I can go on and on.
Religion is a strange thing man..it kills rationality...we are rationalists as long as weird practices or superstitions of other religions are concerned..but when it comes to our religion ,we find silly excuses to continue practising and believing all that os irrational in it.

rama killing the sudra (Shambuka vadha) is mentioned in Padma Purana , do you consider Padma purana an authentic holy book ?

BTW i read ramayan and i think RAVAN was good man and ram was cheater .
on occasion of sita's swambher they lied to ravan that lanka is burning ravan went to lanka immediately and find out it was lie there was no fire when he come back swambher was over and sita was wife of ram . so its logically make rawan angry . even when he abduct sita he did not harm sita . it was ram whom ask sita for agni pariksha and banwaas of years . so logically people should burn ram not rawan .
