Sir, do you seriously believe that crap of NASA helping India's Mars Mission or you are so severely butt-hurt?

Like countless many have already explained, all that NASA did was to provide tracking service through their network of Antennae spread across different time zones when the spacecraft was out of view from India's Antennae in Bangalore.

We have very similar antennae but just that we have them only in one time zone -- simply because we didn't have any spacecrafts deep in space to track. But now that we have MOM out in space, it is only a matter time before we add similar antennae across different zones of the globe to track our spacecrafts -- 24/7!

It is like asking your friend to connect your TV to his antenna just because he lives in top floor and gets better signals at a certain time of day.

I heard they guided the shuttle from their sattelite ... like a pace car does in Racing ... guiding slowly to let the Indian craft follow its trajectory and automatically send in adjustment messages so it would stay in track

Otherwise that craft was going to neptune

Its is stated clear

India was supported for all the Deep Space Navigation by NASA their knowledge , technology , data etc flight paths etc

Its really a mission if its discovering new stuff , this is like following on trajectory of American NASA crafts

Do you even have one single piece of evidence suggesting that NASA guided our spacecraft? You think NASA was allowed control of our Mars Mission?

You should also know that all the communications to and from each of the spacecrafts/satellites is encrypted. If it was not encrypted, there are enough butt-hurts in our neighborhood who would have liked to hijack it and crash it onto some ocean with glee!!!

All NASA did was to relay back with ISRO the encrypted signals they received from our Mars Craft. At no point, would they have been able to control the craft or even decrypt the signals!!!

If you still continue to believe in crap, you are just too dumb to understand anything. Continue living in your paradise!

The Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM)—also known as “Mangalyaan” (Hindi for “Mars Craft”)—arrived at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre on the barrier island of Sriharikota, within India’s southern state of Andhra Pradesh, on 3 October and should be in position to begin final pre-launch checkout later this week. It will fly atop the highly reliable Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) and is expected to enter orbit around the Red Planet in September 2014.

BANGALORE, India — NASA's Deep Space Network will provide support for India's Mars orbiter mission scheduled for launch this year as part of expanded cooperative ties between the United States and India, the two governments announced June 24 in New Delhi.

"NASA is providing deep space navigation and tracking support services to this mission governments said in a joint statement released during the three-day visit to India by of U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry.

The Mars mission, developed by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is slated for lift off from India's launch facility at Sriharikota in October or November.



The only difficult part in mars missing is the DEEP space navigation rest is a stupid rocket flying to mars a planet that big how can you miss it lol and not to mention the period when it makes the final ajustments if you have another sattelite giving you coordinates

Did you even read your post? It is talking about their Deep Space Navigation Network located across the globe!!! It doesn't mean they took over control of the craft to guide it wherever they want to.

They only relayed the signals back and forth what ISRO asked them to (that too, only when the spacecraft was not in the line-of-sight of our antennae)!!!
