Situation is ongoing and pretty serious at the moment. Keep in mind Israel attacked due to events it claims occurred at the border(during daily demonstrations) that Hamas armed wing doesn't get involved in. But, it did say it will respond to air strikes(especially not at moment of demonstrations and at night).

International community is willing to rehabilitate Gaza but the conditions you're imposing that are preventing an agreement is the crucifix of the situation on the Gaza border. Either you allow international community to do its work or take care of Gaza yourself. Time is running out....

What you did to Gaza in 2014 is much worse than what Homs or Aleppo seen. Aleppo was made worse by the ground war, however. I'm talking about aerial bombardment.

Anyway Israel can't ignore the situation. It either agrees to long term proposal or reoccupies Gaza and has to take full responsibility again. Netanyahu keeps stalling an agreement because he wants to look tough among his rather extremist population which will not tolerate political settlements that improve Palestinian quality of life....

There is nothing to gain if Israel announces a full blown assault on Gaza. Sooner or later it has to take responsibility for the situation. Netanyahu is most likely worried from public backlash if he lifts the siege even partially.

Keep in mind people many twitter pages are making up false news to generate more hits. Such as claiming a Hamas 'command and control' building was destroyed. What was attacked was a civilian government building. Hamas military wing communication systems or 'control centers' are underground. Secondly they are making up false reports regarding IDF or Hamas anticipation/strategy.
