It serves no purpose to talk to iran at this time---. We just had our prime minister visit iran---. The messages have been exchanged---.

Read the article: the FM wants to consult with not just civilian but Pakistan's military leaders.

Most of the world feels it's Pakistan's military leaders who make all the key decisions regarding external affairs. So if the Iranian FM does come to Pakistan he'll really just have one item on his agenda, given Iran's current situation: convincing Pakistan to betray the Iranian mullahs' enemies. And when he leaves, no matter what is announced, everyone will be wondering if he accomplished his purpose or not...

Pakistanis work in Arab countries and send dollars back which is important for us not the number of Indians working there

I don't know if it matters to Pakistani officialdom if it's to Pakistan's advantage that the Iranian FM not be allowed in, not when every official who meets with him can garner at least prestige if not more for doing so. (Remember, these are the guys who argued that giving hunting permits to rich Arabs to hunt illegal birds is in Pakistan's "best interest".)

US Iran whole dispute revolves around nuclear agreement. rest like saudi and israel want to get security through US might. Iran and Saudi dispute been running since iran iraq war and later saudi enjoy iranian oil quota for decades , now they spend too much money to reimpose these sanction with israel . US has nothing to lose and don't want be part of this regional rift.
