Mortars are not really effective in killing terrorists. They are good against masses of infantry, static emplacements etc. Not terrorists spread out over an area.

Lol ...5 wars ...end of 1948 war Pakistan had 45% of kashmir (AJK and gilgit baltistsn), india had 40-45% and today china has 5% (askai chin)...1965 on almost every front from khemkharan to chawinda to chamb in kashmir (which we still occupy) we were inside ur territory...and u had to retreat from ur offensives in lahore and sialkot sectors...1971 35000 troops were around 1500 to 2000 Km away , with no connection to mainland , troops were sent there via thialand and srilanka as 2000 km of india was in between....it was surrounded on 3sides by india and one side by sea with a native population which was fighting against them along with indian army...surrender was the only option even if it were the americans they would have done it...its like pak defeats u in afghanistan and then brags about it...had u defeated pakistan u would gave atleast captured our kashmir which u still call pak occupied kashmir...u couldnt even capture kashmir or capture any area of pak in any of the 5 wars which u claim then how do we exist as the 7th largest army today..how do we still control almost 50% of kashmir region...this is the shitty propoaganda u r fed...enjoy believing in it LOL !!!

Pakistan has no way of checking India without its asymmetric forces. Hence Pakistan will NEVER give up terrorism as state sanctioned policy.

Looks like now Iran will soon be joining the fray as well. Pakistan thus finds itself locked in by hostile states. That allows India more flexibility with regard to checking China. Bangladesh is already a vassal state, if one chooses to not be politically correct about it. The challenge before India currently is to engage Sri Lanka and grow our maritime capabilities at the same time.

Pakistan should improve security situation in Balochistan. I hope that border becomes secure between Pak and Iran and relations are normalised. Relations with Iran should be priority for whoever is in charge. We shouldn't neglect this.
