- Mig 29, SU 30 and Tejas
- Defeat BrahMos
- Defeat the S-400

India's current and new weapons are dead on arrival. If you see their chatter on the Naval front, we are doomed there also.

When this news surfaced, it means Pakistan had already developed a better system than S-400, and it is just a matter of time before India plays the same foolishness act it did on 27 February.When it comes to defending ourselves, we are not asleep. We will fight until the very last bullet is fired.

New Delhi [India], December 20 (ANI): In a major boost to the country's air defence capabilities, the Indian Air Force (IAF) is deploying the first squadron of the S-400 defence-missile-system">air defence missile system in the Punjab sector.
"The first squadron is being deployed in the Punjab sector. The batteries of the first squadron would be capable of taking care of aerial threats from both Pakistan and China," government sources told ANI.
Parts of the Russian missile system had started reaching India earlier this month and the unit is expected to be operationalized in the next few weeks, they said.
The S-400 air defence system was contracted for by India in a deal worth around Rs 35,000 crore and five squadrons would be provided to India for tacking air threats from up to 400 km.

The first squadron deliveries are expected to be complete by the end of this year.
Sources said the equipment is being brought to India through both sea and air routes.
Sources said after the first squadron is deployed, the Air Force would start focusing on the Eastern borders along with providing resources for training of personnel within the country.
Indian Air Force officers and personnel have trained in Russia on the system.

The air defence system would give India an edge in South Asian skies as they would be able to take out enemy aircraft and cruise missiles from a 400 km distance.
The S-400 missile defence system is equipped with four different missiles which can engage enemy aircraft, ballistic missiles, and AWACS planes at 400 km, 250 km, the medium-range 120 km and the short-range 40 km.
Due to tough bargaining and negotiations, India managed to bring down the S-400 price by almost a billion dollars, sources said. (ANI)

But.. But.. S-300 which is little different to S-400 was not failed in Syria? Israel is not attacking Syria routinely?

I think general Bipin rawat has made india such stronger they can even threaten china day and night. They have increased military capability thrice times than previous decade.

There are though a lot of rumours about whether or not the Russians have activated/permitted the Syrians to use them. That and the fact that Israel has access to much more sophisticated military hardware (including EW) than Pakistan. I wouldn't write off the addition of the S-400s so easily.

Well, who said anything in regard to writt off S-400 addition at all. Secondly, I will be surprised if Russians have just destroyed the reputation of their leading and allegedly most feared AD system like that and put it for mere show.

Furthermore, Israelis have tech or not, is it plausible to downplay Pakistan in the same post of yours where your own assessment trying to make an excuse to not to writt off S-400? If such is the findings, how come Pakistan can't perform well especially when it comes to India.

S-400 will be operated by India same as like they operated the most sophisticated Spyder SAM and shot down their own Mi-17V5 or those most sophisticated Israeli supplied Spice Kits that missed their targets by miles on 26th February, 2019. Having said that, sophisticated military tech doesn't guarantee success whether Israelis or those S-400.

It is a Himads but also the terrain around the area is good for masking. Similar to how the terrain near upper half of the Indian Pakistani border is fairly hilly as well.
Where the S-400 may shine for India is in the south and in a limited ABM role.

If I was Modi and actually knew about defense systems - I would not have said "Rafale hota tu ye na hota" - I would have said "S-400 hota tu yeh na hota".

A question. I once read about Israel's defense system Iron Dome activated mistakenly and fired several missiles on Hammas automatic gunfire.. Can Pakistan, during a war, use something like RPG rockets to trigger S400 defense system and cost India with highly expensive missiles?

S-400 wont operate alone. I
In fact s-400 will target far off targets like aircrafts flying deep inside Pakistan.
For others there will be Akash, Qr-sam and Mr-sam.
