For the example above, one would maintain active access to potentially millions of sensitive user data — while the other builds infra and transfers it to the administration. I could go on. But I would probably be wasting my time.

As for the above example, we are okay with the latter —with appropriate due diligence ofcourse. These FDI rule revisions are definitely a step in the right direction.
