Trump is killing China with tariffs. No US president before Trump ever tariffed China. China is losing hundreds of billions a year to tariffs in export to US. China's main export to the US steel dumping is taking a massive hit. Now US steel production is climbing like there's no tomorrow. The Rust Belt area is alive once again.

some gains, some loses
the results of these tariffs will show in few years when prices of consumer goods will rise, Steel produced in the US will cost more than twice than what it cost to import from China. GM is moving all of its production from US and Canada to Mexico to avoid these tarrifs, prices of home appliances will go up....big slow down ahead.

"Exports dipped 20.7 percent year on year to 135.24 billion U.S. dollars last month, while imports decreased 5.2 percent to 131.12 billion U.S. dollars, the General Administration of Customs said.

However, deducting the Spring Festival factor, China's foreign trade rose 3.9 percent year on year in February, with exports increasing 1.5 percent and imports rising 6.5 percent, respectively, in U.S. dollar-denominated terms."
