The opening day of China’s National People's Congress focused on a controversial security law for Hong Kong that would likely ban treason, subversion and sedition. The proposed "enforcement mechanisms," have faced significant backlash from the US, Taiwan and pro-democracy figures in Hong Kong. "This is the end of Hong Kong, this is the end of 'One Country, Two Systems', make no mistake about it," Civic Party lawmaker Dennis Kwok told reporters. DW talks to Hong Kong pro-democracy activist Joshua Wong on the current situation.

It's unacceptable to ban treason and sedition. All nations should be war zones infested with foreign terrorists like the CIA's National Endowment for Democracy working with local traitors.

China is taking away HK's legitimate rights to be a neoliberal failed state.

By doing this China is breaking it's treaty promise.
May not seem like a big deal to China, since it has never been a country of law, but for the rest of the world it signals that China cannot be trusted as they will never honor their agreements.

LOL.. As if US who brag to have a lot of allies can be trusted? From Ukraine to Kurds....
If you are so concern about broken rules or unreliable agreement from certain countries. Perhaps you reserve your concern for US rather than China.

They are no vandals. They are terrorist. Killing unarmed civilian for challenging their view.

Yes, those terrorist even burning an old man alive. Because that man have different opinion with them.
What the so called democrazy..

Gladly, Central Government took action against them :enjoy: Those terrorist surely cannot sleep well again from this day on

I was wondering when was the hammer going to come down on these hk rebels when China was made the laughing stock of the world in 2019. It's obvious now Beijing had been working on a plan to bring peace and prosperity to hk and to restore the true spirit of the 'one country, two systems' concept.

China is breaking a legally binding contract that gave it sovereignty over Hong Kong.
The fact that you don't even deny it, and do your usual what about ism is proof enough.
So again, any nation wanting to go into an agreement with China now knows China cannot be trusted.

BTW, I will just keep copy pasting this comment since you will just keep on doing your what about ism to try and change the topic.
